Aftermarket filters

I bought a 5500 a week ago. I have been trying to find aftermarket filters as I am a preventive maintence junkie. To be honest I haven't checked the dealers prices. I have noticed that others are complaining about the price on Mahindra filters so I was just bypassing that step. I only have 6 hours on it so I am a ways off from the changes, just want to be prepared. If I could ever get some free time the hour meter would be running non stop.

By all means, if you have a good dealer check with them first. Ours has OEM filters for less than NAPA, maybe yours will too.

I too am obsessed with the best oil and filters. When I purchsed my Mahindra 2615HST, the very first thing I wanted to do was get that cheap Dong Woo Korean made oil filter replaced. I spent about three days staight trying to find a cross ref. finally I went to a Mitsubishi car dealership and they crossed it with a generator that uses my same engine.

They looked it up in a cross ref. book call Hastings. Now I run one of the finest oil filters money can buy with a synthetic media. Mobile 1 M110 oil filter, and Mobile 1 5-40 synthetic in winter, and 15w40 when temps are above 80. Hope this was helpful. <font color="black"> </font>
