My stump removal project is not going as smoothly as I had intended. It looks like I will be talking to either a mini-excavator operator or more probably a bulldozer operator. SWMBO'd describes my project area as the "lunar landscape" . I will use my tractor to clean up the site afterwards. Jay

This project is how I talked her into the BX so a bigger price of rental equipment will be coming much later to dig up some of the poplar tree stumps that are 18 - 24" on diameter. I also have some beech trees from 4-12" in diameter. I am dropping all the trees I feel comforatable with and I will pay to have the bigger ones taken down and then I will cut them up and move them.

I am trying to figure out if I need a ripper or thumb as well.
