With this amount of light , I may never need to go in the house at night!! Lights up like Vegas at night. Two 55 watt Warn brand floods 6" pointing fore and one 5" pointing aft.
Still need to connect wires to relay/ switch. I only get so much done as a weekend warrior. I study what route to take and bring supplies/tools to the property next trip and get it done.
Dont forget if you use single wire lights to add a dedicated ground to your light bar. ROPS doesnt ground with floppy pins/bolts.

Nice job, Looks good.
Here are the lights on my DK 35.
2 middle ROPs lights aimed straight ahead.
2 outside ROPs lights angled/aimed to each side.
And 1 factory light behind the seat faces back.

Looks good Mark. Running at night would be a good solution to the hornet nest problem I have. They are inactive at night.

Funny thing neighbors have immediately asked for all sorts of bush hogging work. I don't know what to charge. It's just fun stuff.

Not until I get that beekeeper's outfit in the mail though!

( Hey Vince . do all those lights behind your head cause much of a sunburn ??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif )

Actually, No.
I work outdoors all summer long, so I already have a pretty good tan. The sun had the burning over and done months ago. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Vince's friends were jealous through the winter that he had a better tan than they did, thinking he was spending all his time in the tropics. But no, it was just the Kioti tanning booth! LOL

Hey Vince , All kidding aside . Did you need to run off the battery to pull that much power for the added lights ? I'm thinking that I should also do a couple more lights for snow removal this winter. What size wire did you run ?
Hope it does not appear that I am trying to side track this thread as this is a very good thread and I am going to enclose my grill guard too after seeing this .

Be careful with the nieghbors . After I brought home my first Kubota the neighbors just assumed I would be there at their beck and call . What I did was establish a set price per hour for "good nieghbor work" and told them up front . And I allow no one to run my tractor .

Al, the neighbors are commercial firms like mine. Like the nearby drive in theater. I figured $40/hr or so. I don't want to do too much...just fun stuff within tractor driving distance.

I saw $1 per hour per horsepower....But that doesn't quite add up to me. Needs to be a little more I think, even though this is just a 30 hp compact tractor.

I just want to have a little fun on the weekends really.

I agree ! At $40 an hour operated ,you are being very fair . I just rented an old B21 Kubota TLB for a friend whose water line had broke and with water coming out all over the road we did not know where to look . We finally found the pipe 3 feet down on the other side of the road . The rental shop charged $178 for 4 hours use or a 1/2day rental rate . That seemed high to me ,but it was my buddy paying ,not me ,and he did not have a problem with the rental price . I might get jumped on for saying this ,but a B21 KubotaTLB ,while it is a great little tractor ,is not that big of a tractor to bring $44.50 per hr unoperated . My tractor is in Idaho or I would have done it for fuel cost as he has bailed me out many times.
