Nice write up...... thanks ! Just curious..... did the plastic spiral protective wrap over the hoses come with the kit? Or was it something you added?

Enjoyed your posts and photos! If and when I ever decide I need rear remotes, I will have to decide if spending extra money is worth it, or if JJ's advice is workable for me. Nice job, and enjoy your new feature!

Nice write up and great job on the install. I also prefer a factory look and no one would be able to look at what you did and know that it didn't come on the tractor.

Yes, the spiral sleeves with the color-code bands were included with the kit.

Great job! Very informative post. I just have one question. I have been looking to do this to my B3000HSDCC and have found the B7304 kit online but can't find the B7306. My local dealer from whom I bought the tractor told me that they are not valid part#s and gave me a price of $648 on just the valve.
My question to you is, where did you find the kits?

Your dealer should be able to find the kits in the Kubota Wholegoods catalog. They probably won't show up if they just try a standard Kubota parts search.

In 2014, the B7304 valve kit cost $240 plus sales tax and shipping (to the dealer's shop) so your dealer's quote of $648 is way off base. Perhaps the quote was for both the B7304 and B7306 combined since one cannot be used without the other. It's also possible that the B7306 is no longer available since the tractors that they go with are no longer being made (I believe the B7304 valve is still used by the newer B2650/B3350 tractors).

I'm still contemplating adding a second valve and lever kit to my tractor so I will be curious to know what you find regarding availability and pricing. Please post an update if possible.

Thanks von. After posting yesterday I spoke to the salesman that sold me the tractor. He explained to me that the whole goods part #s are specific to the whole goods catalog which is why the parts guy couldn't find the kits when I called, and he also said if you were to buy all the needed parts piece by piece it will definitely cost much more. He did find me both kits for a total of $718 plus freight. So they are still available, you just gotta talk to the right people. You being one of them!! Thank you so much for the help!!!

Great write up.

Two comments:

1) I second the notion that it would be smart for anyone wanting remotes to do this with the Kubota kit. JJ could do it in his sleep from the Surplus catalog but most folks would really
benefit from the kit and instructions.

2) HF sells a cheap cir clip tool. Costs about $5 as I recall.
