Mowing 916a deck under my 1210

So a couple weeks ago I was greeted with all my gearbox fluid sitting on my 916a mower deck. Yesterday I pulled the deck. Didn’t look hard to remove the box. 4 bolts holding the gearbox frame and 4 bolts holding the box to the frame. Wrong. Had to cut the 4 bolts to the deck. Then I break my Allen key off in the pull. Looked like an Allen screws down to the key. I’m at a my Whitt’s end on this Allen. Thinking of drilling the whole thing out and tapping it with something else. Any ideas
