790 - 50 hour service - opinions please

I correct myself. The owners manual says change hydro fluid and filter after 500 hours. There seems to be some disagreement on when to change hydo fluid and filter based on what I am seeing in several posts. Anyone have any ideas on what and when?

It depends on the hours you accumulate per year.
I run between 60 and 80 hours...that would be 6 or 7 years before a hydraulic oil change....too much in my opinion.

For me, a 200 hour interval seems about right.

So, IMHO, I'd go with the 200 hour change. If you run up the hours quicker then I do, you may want to extend that interval.

I changed all fluids on my 4710 at 50 hours, and will again at 200...I'd rather be safe than sorry as the saying goes. BTW, my dealer said I didn't have to change the hydro, but I didn't listen! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
