My 7610 has developed a squeak whit each revolution of the rear wheel. It started in the fall and I put a breaker bar on the cinch nut and tightened it. It didn't take long for the squak to return. (I think having the rear chains on may have something to do with it)
I called the dealer service manager and he mentioned that between the hub and the hex axle are some sort of shims. He suggested maybe rotating the shims to the next set of flats on the axle. I'm gonna put the neighbor's impact gun on it and crank the @#$% out if it.
Anybody have any thoughts on this? Experience? Tricks?
If it begins again, I guess I'll have to cough up the $130 for a new hub...or do I just need the shims? What do I look for?
