The used Power Trac 1850 I am getting has a 60" Power Sweeper/Broom with power angle that fits the 1430/1845/1850. I am space limited on the trip home and I need to decide what to keep/get. I was planning on replacing the bristles and wheels on the power sweeper and selling it so I would have more room for other implements. Before I did that, I thought it best to ask the advice of people here.
A new power sweeper is $2400. I was thinking of selling this one for $1400 after I have them install the new bristles and wheels. However, should I be keeping this instead? I can see where someone commercially cleaning or removing snow from sidewalks, parking lots, or driveways would love to own one. Local people tell me they make a lot of money doing sweeper work. But given my work schedule, I do think I can do this type of commercial work which requires one to be at a particular place at an unplanned time. For my own gravel driveway, well I just had 24" of snow so I do not think I would use the sweeper for snow removal and I never rake leaves and have no concrete, asphalt, pavers, etc. to keep clean. Is there a $1400 reason I am missing as to why I should keep this sweeper?
Thanks for your advice!
