Here's a post for conversation: what is your gear of choice for the different jobs you use with your tractor?

I find I use my disc harrow in B-2

I mow in B-2 or B-3.

I use A range from 2 to Rev when using my FEL

I only use the C range when trying to get somewhere in a hurry.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like there is a big difference between B-2 and B-3? I find B-2 to be just a shade slow and B-3 to be a bit too fast when I am pulling my disc harrow to plant food plots.

B-R and B-2 98% of the time. C for road travel/A for tedious work.

There does seem to be a pretty healthy jump between B2 and B3.

I mow usually in B1 or B2,ocassionaly in A3, depending on the space and thickness of what I am mowing. I do not like how fast the tractor goes in reverse in B range. There is a pretty big difference between B2 & B3. I use B3 just going from point A to B on the property. I do not remember the last time I used C, I do not travel the road much.

a-1 to B-1 for loader depending on how "loose" the pile is.

B-1 usually for shredding (mowing) maybe B-2.

I actually use c-1 a bit running from my crushed granite stockpile to other parts of the place.
