Sorry that you haven't gotten an answer. This is one of those odd questions that I am not sure if anyone knows the answer on TBN. I know for sure that I don't anyway. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I just got a "Parts & Attachments" catalog in the mail from John Deere, publication DKD1772 with a Pub Date of 10/2005. On page 45 they have a "Standard Creeper Kit" and a "High Speed Creeper Kit". Both kits are listed for "All 5000 Series Tractors".
The standard creeper kit will give you an additional slower range.
The high speed creeper kit gives you an additional slower range which is faster than the standard creeper kit and slower than the "A" range on the tractor.

thanks - that sounds like a Christmas Wishbook! I'll have to get the catalog. I assume the creeper gear replaces the low 1st gear?

I also received the JD catalog and I don't think the creeper replaces your 1st gear. The catalog says it will give you an additional slower range.

I hate to say this, but based on available information at Deere.com and using their configurator for a 5105, I do not think they offer a creeper kit on the 5x05 tractors.

It would appear that the standard and high speed creeper kits are only available on the 5x20 and 5x25 series tractors. And the only place they are even mentioned is in the configurator. There is no mention of creeper kits in the normal specification and information pages for the 5x20 or 5x25 tractors. I also don't recal them being mentioned in the 5x20 or 5x25 brochures either.

Of course, the best place to get definitive info on possible creeper kits for the 5x05 series tractors is going to be your local Deere dealer.

Opps! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I errored just a bit in my previos post. The online info for the 5x25 series in the agriculture section does have info on the regular and high speed creeper kits.
