4410 on it\'s way (hopefully)

After following the post for over 6 months I finally made the decision to purchase the JD 4410 with every option I could ever imagine using. Added the 430FEL, 48BH, 72"MMM, lights, HD alternater, MX5, Frontier Box Blade and Landscape rake and last but not least an hydraulic top link.

Dealer says I will receive it at the end of September, 6 weeks from the time of ordering. Could use it here today, isn't that the way it always is! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I want to send out my thanks to all for the massive amount of information on the site, it helps allot and confuses a little /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif being a neophyte and all.

Will keep al informed as things move along.

You will be delighted, the wait is the hard part. I am looking forward to some loader work and mowing today, myself. Therapy for my real job.

Re: 4410 on it\'s way (hopefully)

Called the dealer today and my 4410 has been invoiced which I was told means that the dealer should have it within a week and I will have it shortly thereafter.

Because of what additional info. I have learned ordered the T&T. Asked about bucket hooks and a toothbar, they don't install bucket hooks due to liabiltiy issues and didn't have a supplier for the toothbar. I visited the sight suggested here for the toothbar but I am concerned that the additional weight added to my 4 in 1 will make my loader innefective, any thoughts?

Re: 4410 on it\'s way (hopefully)

I heard from the dealer today and my tractor and all of it's parts have arrived and they have scheduled delivery for the 26th of September....Yeah! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I added the FCC toothbar, A big thanks for everyones help. The PHD remains an open issue, nothing is standing out as the way to go so I'll keep my options open.

I have a super clean Kubota G1900 all wheel steer lawn and garden tractor with a 48" deck and 135 hours. The dealer is offering $5000 on trade which, as always, is less than what I want. I am thinking about deleting the 72" MMM which is $2400 and keeping my Kubota. I am getting the MX5 and even though it is not a finish mower I would probably use it for my larger mowing needs. Any thoughts?

Re: 4410 on it\'s way (hopefully)

I'd keep the Kub and forget the MMM. They can get in the way when you're doing more serious things. Your fears about the toothbar are unfounded. I wouldn't worry about bucket hooks for now- there are places on the 4 in 1 bucket where you can hook a chain.

Re: 4410 on it\'s way (hopefully)

It's Here! Thanks again for all the responses and help!

Decided to keep my Kubota G1900S and forefit the MMM. 4410 arrived less than complete but I was still happy. Have appointment with the dealer on 10/15 for them to pick-up the tractor and complete everything.
Dealer sent out a person to deliver the tractor who knew very little about the functioning of the tractor. The good news is that between the video and my curiosity most of the tractors operation is based on common sence.

I can't say what I love most, the 4-in-1 or the backhoe. It's amazing to me what a strong fight a 5" stump can give the 48 backhoe.

All in all very happy!
