Mahindra 4025 / Kubota RTV500 / Bad Boy ZT Elite 60"
My 4025 has just had warranty repairs completed today and will be back home today. Power steering reservoir had a cracked weld at mounting bracket and was leaking. The best part is that the dealer picked up the tractor and made repairs and are returning it today, no transportation charge. Wow, that was nice. The dealer is J5 tractors . They have two locations, one in Normangee and the other in Navasota. I have had great service from them.

Glad your getting your tractor back and all repaired from a good sounding dealer. My Mahindra dealer did the same for me picked it up fixed it and returned it all in the same day and no charge. Maybe just maybe the Mahindra dealers are getting the word out, CUSTOMER SERVICE really does count!!:D

When my 4035 had its diesel leak my dealer did the same. I also pointed out a few minor things, but things that shouldn't be with a new tractor. The coolant reservoir wasn't filled, the adjustment screws on the rops wouldn't go in, and I had a small hydraulic leak at one of the threaded fittings. It seemed nit-picky, but they were all adressed; pickup and delivery included - Free of charge!

Customer service is key

Burzynsr, I think I may have the same leak on my 4025. If I can I will attach a picture. I'd appreciate your letting me know if it looks like the leak you had. I am over a hundred miles from dealer so I'd like to deal with it myself if possible. Thanks

Sorry that I did not reply earlier, I was out of town last week (way out as in South Dakota). My power steering reservoir was leaking around the bracket on the bottom and really was not bad but over time it was making a mess, collecting dust and dirt and also making a mess on the shop floor. I looked at your picture and see a drip on a line below. Mine was dripping on the starter and spred out from there. I cleaned it off a couple of times to verify what was happening. I even went as far as putting new teflon tape on the drain plug to eliminate that. I got the tractor to them before the front to back warranty was out, 5/15/12 was the deadline.

Hey Mahindra One, I might be mistaken and I am sure you checked the fluid leak but that looks to me like diesel, not hydraulic oil. Similar hoses, metal braided sheathing, on my 5035 all carry diesel. I have not seen this type of hose carry hydraulic fluid.
