40 amp circuit breaker *EASY QUESTION*

I am the furthest thing from an auto mechanic...so this is all new to me...I appreciate the link...my neighbor is going to help me trouble shoot the electrical problem

If you are testing continuity you have to disconnect one side from the breaker to make sure you are testing continuity through the breaker and not the rest of the cicuit. If you are using a voltmeter you should have the same voltage on both sides of the breaker i.e one lead on the battery terminal, the other lead on each terminal of the breaker in turn. Hope that is clear as mud.

Or you could use the old test procedure of "put a nail in place of the breaker and then follow the burned wiring back to the faulty component"
