I have to agree with you and I’m researching for LED Spot lights now. Thanks for the link!

I've been using one of these for two years now, no problems at all. It does a very good job of focusing the light directly on the flag

I well say it's got that flaw of just shutting off periodically which is a bit aggravating....but it has two beam choices. I got the narrow focus one, and when it is on...it works extremely well in lighting my flag.

Double T8 fixture. 55watt
Double LED, no ballast 34watt

When i feel better, ill put the two LED replacement tubes in a ballast fixture and measure it.
