I was talking to my neighbor the other night and he told me he was going to rent a big chipper and wondered if I would like to use it too.
This got me to thinking again about a PTO chipper for the 2210. I did a search in the archives for chippers, and I found a brand "bearcat" that looks like they might have one that would be ok for the the 2210.

Does anyone use a chipper on their 2210? If so, what make/model etc.. and opinions on the subject.
My neighbors's got a 2210 too and a very wooded lot. He might be interested in getting one some day.
I've got a 10 hp shipper/shredder model that is built by American Yard Products, and sold under the Troy-Built and Craftsman name. It's ok, but the chipper hopper is a little small and it's tough to put brush through it. It can handle large diameter (3"+) green material as long as it's straight, but try putting anything gnarley in it and it's a PITA. Besides its Tecumseh engine is pretty loud when you combine that with the machine noise. If we can get something to replace it, I'd sell it. It is an ok machine if you have a cleared lot that is about an acre. It's inadequate for my current needs and certainly inadequate for my neighbors' needs.
