I posted this same meesage in the general forum, but I wanted to be sure the JD people saw it as well.

My 2210 w/ 200CX arrived last week, and there had been some discussion on the newer loaders so I wanted to be sure everyone knew what they looked like. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The 200 CX is quick-mount. The manual also states that the 200x IS NOT quick-mount, and furthermore isn't designed to be removed. My understanding is the the 200X is a bolt on unit without parking stands, so if you ever want to take off your loader the X is not for you.

The CX has pretty good cycle times. It came with a 53" bucket, and with a full bucket it hasn't given any indication of wanting to stall out yet. It can be a little slow waiting for the dump cycle to start, but so far I suspect that is in the valve, and mostly I just have to re-work the lever to get things moving along. All-in-all no big deal!

All in all it's a real nice loader.

Here is a photo of the mounting points.

You raise the front wheels off the gound, flip these two pawls on either side of the frame, and raise the bucket. The process takes about 30 seconds, then you unhook the hoses and drive off.

I'll try and get some photos of the loader itself tomorrow.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I like how the new style follows the hood line. I wonder if it gives better visibility than my 210.

<font color="green">Thanks for the pictures. I see the grill guard looks different than the one that came with my 210.

Does the new grill guard have the same front weight problem as the old guard?

With the 210 grill guard on my 2210, I cannot put a full set of unaltered front weights on the tractor because the bolts for the guard get in the way. I say unaltered because grinding some metal off two of the weights can solve the problem.

mhalla,

It's a folding grill guard. The bolts stick through the frame rail about 1-1/2" on either side. So yeah, I think it'll still be a problem.

Here's a photo!

I wonder if the 200CX will be able to be used with the "intermediate pto drive" used for the front blower, broom etc. With the 210 they just interfere, but I would be interested in being able to swap between the loader and the snowblower, and the hardest thing to change is the "intermediate hitch". /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Will let you know! My new 2210 has a 200cx FEL and I bought a 47" snow blower with the front quick hitch & front PTO kit. Haven't had a chance to install it yet.
