    2006 YTH2448 260 hours

My 2448 has been running very well, decided to buy the high capacity three bin bagger last week for $369. Easy install and it works great. I decided to keep the tractor instead of buying a mower deck for my Massey Furg :) Besides I can get under and make tighter turns around trees with the...

Hi fellow tractor owners; My tractor is will be off of the origional warranty in May, it is currently in the shop addressing some issues prior to the warranty end. My questions are related to owners like me who plan on keeping the tractor for a long time, but, also plan on working it very...

    PTO Sound When Engaged

Hi, I just engaged my mid and rear PTO for the very first time just out of curiousity. No problems to engage or disengaged but when I first engage either one I hear a rapid clicking noise that sounds like the wheel of fortune whel spinning. Then it goes away-is this normal?

Need a little advice or re-assurance.

I don't know if anyone remembers a thread I posted last year abiout my GC2410 hydraulics shuddering. The dealer told me it was normal for compact tractors so I let it be. Now I noticed the FEL doing it and when under load the whole tractor shudders\vibrates much more profound as the hours...

    Garage floor Needs Help-Alot.

I have a 24 foor by 24 foot garage built in the 70s and the floor is all pitted and is bad enough to where dollies have a hard time rolling accross the floor. I was toying with the idea of using epoxy to fill in all the pits but is there a better way?

    50 hour service due :)

Dirt Moving  Moved about 50 yards of dirt today

I know my GC2410 isn't the best tool for this job, but, hey I had fun and I saved myself a few hundred bucks in rental charges. I used a combination of a 48" box blade and the loader which worked out well for the most part. The dump truck would dump 21 yards of dirt and I would start out by...

Is this a scam?  I Have discovered the Cold Hard Truth About Buying Tractors

The truth is-tractors are inexpensive, attachments are expensive. You can buy a decent new tractor by itself for 5-10 thousand dollars. They will get you on the attachements :( Why does a mmm deck cost almost half that of the alone??? Why does a 48" box blade cost 600 plus dollars? Why does...

Traction  GC2410 FEL Snow Moving Experience

Just wanted to chime in with my experience on removing snow with the FEL on the GC2410. First of all, it took a lot longer than I expected, but, I got to excercise the tractor. The main reason it took longer was mostly due to experience-it was my first time. I left the BH on for traction...

I have the GC2410 and the dealership told me that you cannot hook up a FEL and rear mount snowthrower at the same time. I was told that the rear mount hooks into the FEL valve. When I bought this I was hoping to be able to use both, does anyone have a solution or idea for this configuration...

    Engine Vibration

Finally got my GC2410 back, they had to replace the oil pan seal and the front engine seal which was improperly installed at the factory. My question is, at idle, does this engine vibrate alot? When I mean alot, I mean alot-at higher RPMs it smooths out quite a bit. At idle-it could break a...

Got the tractor stuck in mud today(sorry no picks)

Had to use everything it had to get it out. In the end I had to use both 4 wehel drive with rear differentials locked and the loader to get out. Took three hours to clean everything and I'm still finding mud here and there. Those turf tires kinda suck in mud but thats to be expected.

Hi, I know that for every 1kw you need to have 2hp on your PTO and the 2410 is rated at 18.7hp. That would mean by the numbers I could go up to a 9.35KW generator rated for 540. A 10KW is more readily available so could our tractors handle a 10KW generator our is it better to try and find...
