Agree on the cables being fragile. I messed up the Starlink cable pulling it through the wall and had to order another. Didn't take much to cause it to not be able to connect to the antenna.

    Status of Everything Attachments

Stinks they have closed for multiple reasons. I was considering ordering a grapple from them and glad at this point I had not pulled the trigger on this. I see most of the comments addressing orders not being filled; however I feel the loss of this also hits all the previous customers that...

    CK4020SE vs. CK3520SE

I debated this and went with the 4010. I didn't want to leave any hp on the table and I haven't regretted that decision. Runs everything including my MX8800 chipping a 8 inch tree without a drop in rpms at all.

    Good Deal ck4010se???

Your profile picture also has a Koiti 3rd function on it so that is even more money saved. Think that was another 1200-1500 bucks, cant remember.

    Good Deal ck4010se???

Congrats, great deal. We bought our 4010SE last August for 29k with 3 hours on it. 209hours on it as of today and going strong.

    New Kubota Loader Uneven

Seems you bent your FEL mount, that will not be a warranty fix. You can either fix it yourself or pay someone. I would try to fix it myself. With the bucket off, put the right side mount against a big tree, curl out the FEL until the left side is even with the right. Then mount your bucket and...

    Ford 1100 pressure plate update

I did locate a new clutch for my Ford 1110 and replaced it last year. It was $430 I believe but worked great after I replaced it. I do like your idea, seems like it would work.

    Kioti CK20s H Range Issue

What were you bushhogging? and how tall was it? H Range 2 Gear seems really fast for bush-hogging to me. I typically bushog tall grass in M 2 or M 1 with my CK4010.

If you were in Alaska for the first time, where would you go and what would you do?

I spent Jan-April 1994 deep in the woods of Fort Wainright with just 4 man and 10man tents. -40 degrees at night and lots of Northern Lights to see late every night at my post at 1am. Amazing experience for sure.

Buying Advice LS vs TYM vs Kioti

Agree, I first looked at the 25hp tractors for the same reasonss as you. I had a limit on tractor size due to the area I want to work my tractor and store it (tight woods and smaller garage) but I ended up getting the most hp I could get in the CK model line. Happy I went that route as it has...

Culled my first rooster yesterday :(

I did the same to two roosters last week. Too aggressive but doing what they are born to do. Skinned them and the wife made broth out of them. We got another 20 "hens" that are 4 weeks old now and there are two roosters in that group that were supposed to be hens. So I will end up having to...

    Finally bought a small generator.

    Great info, thank you.
  20. F

    Finally bought a small generator.

So does that equate to one day at 100% load? Just curious. I am considering a whole house propane unit, but fuel use and the ability to have my propane tank refilled in an emergency are my huge concerns. I am talking a severe storm with power out for several days. Not just a infrequent outage.

    Starlink

Thanks guys for the feedback on this. Seems like it is the direction I should go. I will look into available options and make a decision. Seems like Standard would be fine for my needs but not sure when that will be available here.
  23. F

    Starlink

Thanks for that feedback, that is awesome to hear. I would love to have that kind of connectivity with my work. Standard Starlink isnt available here or I would already be on it trying it out. I may just go ahead and pull the trigger on Starlink Business if Standard has worked that well for you.
  24. F

    Starlink

Well that is another thought I had. Residential isnt even available here for me. I had paid the $99 bucks a couple years ago and never heard anything from them so I cancelled it a couple months back. I recently saw the Starlink Business was available here so that is what got me considering it again.
  25. F

    Starlink

Yeah its pricey. I pay $175 a month for ViaSat Business now and its capped at 75G before the speed slows down. Even so, the fastest it gets is 30Mbps. Though Starlink is $250 a month, its worth it if I can get faster speeds and not be capped at 75G total data. I work remote so its an necessary...

    Starlink

Late to this thread. Sorry if its been said but can anyone speak about their business account with Starlink and how that is performing for them? I am considering changing from ViaSat business to Starlink business. I see that is available now in my area (remote). Thanks.

    What is this critter?

I would have agreed with you thinking bobcats don't get that big but last year I saw a bobcat on my property here near the Blue Ridge Parkway that thru that notion out the window. KIOTI KL4030 vs KL4030C loader?

Yeah I get what you are saying. I am guessing Taesung is Kioti's subcontractor for making the KL2610 FEL and were already tooled up for that and they worked a deal to build a beefier version of the KL2610 and call it a K4030C.

Brand new Kioti CK2610 HST loader backhoe $398/mo 0 down 84 months

Id say that is a good price on your Kioti. We love our CK4010SE, bought it in August of 2022 and have 110hours on it so far. No issues and it is a workhorse.

    another hiccup to going solar?

My wife and I looked into solar but the only way I could see it making sense would be to not include the electric company in any way. Meaning go completely off grid or using electric company power only when excessive power is needed. This would require a battery bank and the ROI just isn't...

I concur. I have an Echo that I bought in 1999 and I literally have not done anything to it except add more fuel and trimmer string for the 24 years I have owned it. Heavy use every year also with a bush blade and it fires up every time and runs great. I probably should have maintained it...

Beaver dam? Tannerite? Hold my beer!

In the 90s, I worked for Georgia Pacific contract trapping Beavers and blasting beaver dams on hundreds of their properties. I trapped each place for a couple weeks before blasting the dams. Woodland Mills WC68 vs WC88?

    Woodland Mills WC68 vs WC88?

I cant speak to Woodland Mills but I was wondering similar things on the purchase of my new chipper. I couldnt decide between the 6 or 8 inch Woodland Mills and the WoodMaxx. The right tractor for towing/forestry work

I use my Kioti CK4010SE shuttle shift for grub work in the forest in super hilly terrain of Blue Ridge Mountains. I am not pulling huge full size trees and I know its smaller than most would use. Yoder wood pellet smoker

Really the best model for you depends on how much you will smoke at any given time and just buy one with the capacity you need. I would probably go with the YS1500s pellet smoker and be set. Ck2610 vs ct2025 lift

FEL difference between the Bobcat and Kioti was the main reason I went with a Kioti. I was headed in the direction of a Bobcat until I saw the weight spec differences between the Bobcat and the 4030 loader. You can also see the cylinders and FEL mount on the Bobcat are different in size and...

    KIOTI KL4030 vs KL4030C loader?

    Ford1000 injector connectors

they connect together and drain fuel back to the fuel tank. There should be a tube on the bottom of your fuel tank that they connect to.

    KIOTI KL4030 vs KL4030C loader?

I think you might be right. It probably is a beefed up KL2610. I would guess that the "C" in 4030 then stands for Curved. Just a guess, but the top arms on mine are curved and shaped exactly like the KL2610.

    KIOTI KL4030 vs KL4030C loader?
