    3 pt stop

I finally decided to make a stop for my 3 pt on 3515ch. Now, it is a bit rough as the only tools I had were hacksaw, file and drill. I used 1/8" x 1-1/2" aluminum bar stock. I stacked the base pieces together and created a moveable stop piece. The base pieces are ~ 6-1/2" long. I have used to...

    Branson Parts

Thanks guys; but wait why does it have a DOC when that is not required since it is under 26 hp? So, are people buying the 2515 under the assumption there is no emissions? Asteral, you think they are trying to streamline parts, have to wonder if new muffler for 2515 is same for say the 3515. That...

    Branson Parts

I know some have swapped out the tier 4 muffler setup for a I think a Stanley muffler. Well, I thought I would see what a 2515 muffler would cost as an alternative to this approach on a 3515 for a what if scenario.... Well that was a short lived thought as the muffler for 2515 is ~$1,200! Does...

    Battery terminals

Interesting the replies here and honestly I posted this more as a public service announcement. Those who wish to criticize no problem go for it since they are not high on my priority. It is funny though how those who want be critical state they don't post similar situations so others might learn...

    Feeling

Use a 55 gallon drum with hand pump in the drum. It also has an inline fuel filter. I built a small enclosure for the drum and I have a lift strap on the drum and use the loader to put it in the truck when need to get fuel.

    Battery terminals

ptsg, no worries and agree not a fan of that style, so went with the older style and modified it. I can't believe how thin those new style are, probably cheaper to manufacturer. Branson Bob, sorry the battery is the original.

    Battery terminals

Branson Bob, the tractor is 2019 and purchased new. Uh, 5030, yes I own up to ignoring the terminals and they are fixed properly now; but don't not a fan of the attitude.

    Battery terminals

Thought I would post this as an FYI to check battery terminals. I had an issue when i turned on tractor the tach and temp needles started bouncing around and the hour meter went dead. It was a bad ground and found both battery terminals being eaten through. I honestly ignored them when checking...

    Roof removal

Yes, easy to get off, dealer came out to swap out the HVAC unit (bad evaporator) sensor. We just took bolts out and it comes off easy. I have a 3515CH, picture is viewed from driver side.

Betstco Flail Missing Parts And Very Poor Quality Control.

Sorry about spelling; but yes those are the sleeves that when tightened hold the pulleys on the shaft. Now, if the belts are loose that is the bolt on top; 1st have to loosen the 4 bolts that anchor the top pulley to the mower.

Betstco Flail Missing Parts And Very Poor Quality Control.

I have had a Betstco medium duty 175 for about 2 years. Initially, they shipped the unit with a fill plug vs. a vent plug. I would agree the documentation leaves a lot to be desired. As an example they show in 2 places the gearbox takes either 1 qt or 3 qt of oil; neither of which is right since...

Do you use your tractor in a fenced in Garden?

We have garden space that is fenced with 4'-5' high fencing and I use my Branson 3515ch with 4' tiller. We decided on strip gardening leaving grass space/walkways between rows. Yes, we do get dear and rabbits. I will this winter put 2' or 3' chicken type fence to the existing fence to hopefully...

    3515CH HVAC

Sorry about the delay. The dealer finally got a service manual from Branson and it appears the evaporator sensor is bad, Branson is telling him per warranty can't replace the sensor must replace the whole HVAC component in the roof. I did verify with a different dealer that Branson does...

    3515CH HVAC

Sorry for any confusion, the initial symptom was the clutch didn't engage, I reseated the compressor connector and it worked for about a month and stopped. The dealer decided to replace the compressor and condenser. I asked why replace the condenser and they said that is what Branson said to...

    3515CH HVAC

Trying to troubleshoot an HVAC problem. I have been through what service manuals I could find; but I can't find anything in them related to HVAC. I did see that the 20 series service manual has section in it for HVAC. Mine is tier 4 and does not have a dryer. My initial problem was no cold air...

    3515H Loader Hydraulics

Is it under warranty? One thing I don't like is how the main line coming from the pump to the loader value goes underneath the tractor. Mine burst it might have been pinched; but didn't see evidence of that. Dealer replaced it and fluid under warranty. I may in the future look for alternate...

    3515H Loader Hydraulics

3515CH with ~300 hrs and I don't experience that issue. I did have an issue where the if I lowered the bucket I could let go of the loader joystick and it would continue to lower and I would have to pull the joystick back to stop it. The problem was the line coming into the value block below cab...

Alternative to EA 55 Inch Wicked Root Rake Grapple ?

I purchased an MTL grapple, have been happy with it. It has grease fittings. It is a bit more heavy than EA; but it is a whole lot cheaper than EA. Here is link to all of their grapples. Tractor Attachments — MTL Attachments

    Loader value (BL 150)

Thought would pass this on. In the past I wondered if I had an issue with loader bleed down, the dealer came out and replaced the original loader value which didn't fix the problem (it appears some loader bleed down can be expected, I had him test a couple of tractors he had on his lot). The...

    Temperature gauge pegs out

Just as an FYI, I had the opposite problem, mine (3515 CH) was always cold and one time it did register normal range. It turned out to be a combo of thermostat and temp gauge which is part of the instrument cluster and is replaced as a whole. If you replace instrument cluster remember the hours...

Viewed parts of this thread and saw the PTO extension Pedro created which is awesome work and that is something I have thought about, Pedro you mentioned you might have drawings, I have 3515 CH would they apply to it? While I am here I am attaching couple of pics for tool holder I created. I...

    Loader lift and tilt question

GM, I am curious has anybody noticed if they have the bucket up in the air that the lift or tilt loses pressure and drops. I have 3515CH with 150 loader. A while back I was loading some scrap material in the bucket and after probably less than 1 hr I hear a noise and the plywood had slid off...

    3515ch thermostat

Ok, update, I flail mowed for ~1hr and you can see what the temp gauge looks like, also after mowing I held my hand on the radiator for about 20 seconds and was not tremendously hot. Dealer thought it might be temp sensor, I guess it could be but to me it still seems like a thermostat which his...

    3515ch thermostat

GM, hope everybody is doing well. I did do some searching around this; but thought I would throw it out here. I have ~75 hrs on the tractor and originally noticed the temp would go up to the 1st mark and drop to cold and would fluctuate a bit; but never getting up to 1st mark. I don't have a way...

    540E

Do you use the 540E? I am thinking of using it for mowing my pasture (very clean and not over 18" high) and was wondering if running 540E at ~1900 rpm would get engine hot enough for the tier4? I have a 6' flail mower.
