Tractor for land clearing and preparation

Using a chain to grab can minimize land disruption; I've used forks to dig with as well but it leaves quite a mess, and doesn't work well in really rocky soil either. If it works in your situation though, definitely keep doing it, I'm not asking you to change ;)

Recommendations for wood chipper for small material

The chip drops I get have a decent amount of greenery in them, lots of shredded oak leaves and pine needles. I was limited by the big rocks around the tree for foot placement. It did start at an angle, just not very much, but luckily it was enough. I must say I'm tempted to put a winch on the tractor to be able to do this on parts of my land that aren't as accessible by the truck. I don't think you...

    Water heater recs please

There are dip switches, but they don't adjust the minimum flow condition (at least as per the owner's manual: https://www.takagi.com/media/62108/2000536265.pdf). I suspect that minimum flow has to do with the minimum flame capability; not enough water flow = way too hot of water even at a...

The recirc loop in my house is all insulated. The recirc system in my tankless has a thermostat and it turns off the recirc if it thinks the returned recirc water is hot enough, and when that cools down (in the water heater itself), it turns the recirc back on; the water heater will then fire to...

My tankless is "ok" for showers; occasionally the hot water stops and I only get cold, but I think that's because it's a very low-flow shower head (particularly because of water deposits making the holes in the shower even smaller) and depending on the heat your "hot" is set at, mixing it down...

Definitely a valid point. Mine was power vented so it wouldn't run without power anyways, but it's a small draw. Besides with a big tank it'll stay hot enough for a decent amount of time event not running. The tankless sucks for that lol but I've got backup power so no worries.

I don't think this "15% of total traction" is a function of the MFWD, but more of the weight distribution of the tractor, which varies depending on equipment and loading - also note that the front & back axles turn at essentially the same rate. Given that the front drive is mechanically...
