So I’ve had this ?heat treating? Oven for 20 years. PO had piped it directly from his inside NG line. I guess it worked but I needed to use on LP. The 18 orifices were almost 5/16” I couldn’t get any heat or good flame. So time to make a more appropriate LP orifice(s). 18 brass orifices...

It could be ground but it is flat enough for smith work. Sometimes dead flat (or sharp edges) aren’t your friend. Some will mill and weld a tool steel plate to them. This survivor is just fine

So I exhausted my iPhone battery trying to find you a solution. Some people reference “Octacruiser” which is or was a heavily customized 6x6 on YouTube. Idk, but I guess he is using it to pull out stuck quads in mud. Maybe there would be some advise there? I didn’t look at videos but maybe...

Well, the “215lb Peter Wright” that I thought I owned turns out to be a 1904 or so Hay Budden. Cleaned the patina and oiled it up. It should make someone happy (I don’t really have room for 2 anvils)

Could u take it out of 4x4 (4x6) and put a snowboard under each front pod to get it back? Pods are too much for that small spline shaft. Turning under power must be brutal on that drivetrain I will go back to pics, I thought I had a rework idea

Barry, love the farm jeep site. Great job on that site. It inspired me to go with the Stratton 3pt hitch and rear pto. I have the twin stick front pto to add but I think I will go another way with a front utility box when not plowing. My cj5 is a bit bigger than your cj3 but it gets where I...

Felt ok today (nice to have a good day) so tackled a project. I have had this jd weigh box for as long as I have owned the tractor. Since I swap the backhoe with flail, it never gets used. It is a bit of an upgrade from my 200??lb Peter wright I think I posted the redone stand, if not, here it is 2”lamanated oak top over 3/8 plate. It did well for the 200 lb. I liked the patina so I just clear coated the base. I will have to affix it somehow once I see how loud it “rings”
