What about hydraulic float for front mounted snow blade?

MossRoad, thanks for sharing the pic of the Power Trac with the rollers under the boom. Before I saw your pic, I was eying-up something similar with a heavy duty roller under the boom. The weight of the TC boom is also too heavy for the flail mower. A roller (or 2) under the boom might also be...

What about hydraulic float for front mounted snow blade?

The Bonatti plow that I have does not float like the ones shown first page of their website. Really neat design though. I have a lot of steep and uneven terrain where I live (and plow) so the float has worked well on the 3pt and I know I would miss it. I think the plow will get abused and I will...

What about hydraulic float for front mounted snow blade?

Good point Rustyiron, but the ssqa plate was far cheaper to bolt on. I don’t have an adapter to 3 pt. I set the 3pt bracket that I took “off” next to the plow with skid steer quick attach plate that I bolted on.

What about hydraulic float for front mounted snow blade?

Ok, Good to know. Also wondering if anyone has experienced floating the bucket tilt function? I’ve never heard of it but seems like it would be similar to a floating plow design. Might have to post on snow plow thread.

What about hydraulic float for front mounted snow blade?

8' hydraulic angle snow blade on a reversible Antonio Carraro TTR4400HSTII works great with floating 3 pt arms. Selling the tractor and now looking to use this setup on front of UW53 Toolcat. Toolcat has floating arms similar to a FEL but concern is the weight on the plow when gravel roads are...

    Specialty Tractor

Glad to hear the mower is working out for you. I still like the versatility of 3pt attachments on the hydrostatic Antonio Carraro 4400. This is the only picture I could find on steep grades but I am confident that this AC machine will slide before it tips and with a balanced design, all I have...

    Carraro 50HP models

Just noticed this thread, I have a 2017 TTR4400HSTII purchased new from dealer in NE Iowa. There is an Italian FEL available but it has an unremarkably small capacity and installs on the motor end like most CUTs leaving the rear wheels searching for traction. I opted for a high-lift bucket...

    New Antonio Carraro 7600 TTR

As another Carraro owner (TTR 4400 HSTII), glad to know that you are enjoying the AC. I have found that I use mine in reverse direction 95% of time and really enjoy dual duty with motor end attachments. Pushing a flail mower without any wheel tracks or plowing heavy deep snow, these things are...

    Kubota F3990 status/availability or F391 in US?

You can not beat the "Front mounted flail" for deep grass. Cuts and lays it flat with no clumps and better yet, no wheel tracks! I have a 72" 3pt peruzzo with side-shift and I love it for this same application.

    Kubota F3990 status/availability or F391 in US?

I have seriously considered the F3990 Kubota front 72" commercial mower. I am not interested in zero turn as I intend to use all wheel drive steeper areas as well as snow removal & power broom. The 39hp is appealing so that I can consider front flail mower for 1st-crop, heavy-grass mow that only...

    Deck over trailer?

Here is reference to a the best of both that worked for me. Drop deck section is about 74" and overall width is 8'. Lower platform height gives lower loading height of about 26". I use some wooden bunks to set mower/snow plow on so I can use the full 8' width. Wider vehicles can be driven on...

    Plasma Cutter Project,, WhAtSyOuRgUeSs ??

Good to know that the burn solution works. We have had dozens of dead Ash trees from the dreaded Ash Borer in WI. I realize you don't always have the luxury of tipping a tree due to space surrounding it but I have loosened the roots on many dead/dying trees with this bad boy then pushed the tree...

    Tree shear

Not sure if you moved on something yet but the pto driven tree saw will remove a lot more tree(s) in a shorter period of time. Cuts clean to the ground. PTO version on a tractor has zero loss of power. Private party selling one cheap on craigslist in Arcadia, WI..
