    Had mine for two years now no problems. Love it! Oh yea here is the second option not my picture but this is what I did. I didn't like the other option because with some stress or strain the short ends of the pin could twist and come out. But I am a worry wort also!

    Yea the only thing I have found on the HF QH that needed attention was the top hook. It needed extended so that it would reach the top pin (bolt, sleeve) so I did this That isn't mine that is someone else's but mine looked just the same of course I didn't take a picture.
