That is the 30-40 series with interim tier 4. The 31-41 series have a different motor and seems to be right at 50 hours most of the time. 650 hours on my XG3135H stripped down model from the XR models.

On mine there is an curve in the rod that sits in the bracket when the bucket is level. If you twist the bracket (jam it into a pile of brush) it is not correct. I occasionally (or when I know it is off) place the bucket level on flat surface and adjust the bracket to align properly and lock it...

You could have blown a diode or other component when your reversed polarity. Not all electronic devices like having power on the ground side. Time to look for a component/wire that is either shorted to ground or drawing too much current. Tedious job...

Couple more counties and you'd be in my part of the world. :cool: I keep the backhoe on mine and feels like semi compared to the little BX. They make a nice team, haul and spread with the LS then finish with little tractor and box. Take 2 or 4 trips with the bx to haul what the LS does in one.

If it works like mine it holds position per the lever. Just a little lift and it will stay up a bit. Takes some practice, I use the box mostly on the little BX and handle that with much more fineness after 20+ years. Besides the BX turns on dime compared to the LS. :ROFLMAO:

Note check the indicator on occasion. The bracket it rides in can move messing up your perception of bucket tilt. If that bend works I may have to copy it. I bend the straight one all the time.

I have 4500+ (not a typo) on my bx and still learn things all the time. After 400+ hours on the LS I understand how it reacts to most things but still. Always finding new things to try and/or do.

Maybe check the jet size, just got a replacement carb for a chinese ATV and the main jet in the new one was just over the half the size of the old jet. Installed old jet in new carb and it runs fine under load, when it would not with smaller jet.
