    Thats why i dont borrow or lend trailers anymore. Just me and my mate use it. Got tired with all the surprises on the road with borrowed trailers. Borrowed by me, or borrowed from me doesnt matter, theres always something broken.

    One 3/4" pin perpendicular to the travel direction, and two bolts to tighten it along the travel direction, both higher than the height adjusting pin... this will never be tight, there will always be elastic deformation which causes fatigue.

    You dont need a mud truck to do that. Ive seen an Opel Astra with its rear wheels on the hood on some sort of Citroën 10 years ago. Both braked hard, the hit helped the Astra bump up on top of the hood.
