    Does the shop manual have a hydraulic diagram. You’ll probably find that there are 2 hydraulic pumps. You did already the easy stuff, so pressure testing is paramount at this point. My bet is that there is nothing much coming from the pump and that it is FUBAR.

    First do simple things like check the hydraulic oil and see if it has a burnt smell and replace the hydraulic and HST filters. There should be one for the hydraulic and one for the HST. Then I’d get the hydraulic oil pressure tested in various places.

    This is not a very good advise. Regens aren’t only done by soot load trapped in the DPF, there is also a timed mandatory burn off that happens after amount x time has passed. The only way to get around this is to flash the ECU. You will not find a dpf installed, if the engine doesn’t have a ECU.

    Work them safety devices like the seat switch and the PTO switch or defeat them by putting a jumper in it. Sounds like a safety switch issue, or a bad fuel shut off solenoid to me if it turns over, but won’t start / no fuel after the injection pump.

    I’ve had them in there for 10 years no problem. Cleaned them at least once a year inside and outside. As long the filter paper doesn’t have a hole, or is black, I’d put it back on the tractor.

    So the problem is in the shuttle shift column itself? You sure you disconnected the linkage from the SSS to the tranny? Look at the roll pin. If it fails, you won’t be able to shift it. Go to Messicks and get the the blown out parts diagram for the shuttle shift.

    I don’t think that this tank has a drain plug on the bottom, it must be removed to be cleaned. But you’ll see it if it has on or not. You can also suck the tank out with a canister under a vacuum.

    You don’t have any voltage regulation. You shouldn’t see more than 14.5V. The more you rev the engine, the alternator will put out more power. Since the regulator is dead, the poor battery is getting cooked to death.

    Desulfators do work. Just stay away from these little home brew or commercial jobs. If you do use these small desulfators, you pretty much have to start with a new battery and it will keep them in shape. Mine are lasting anywhere from 9 to 14 years depending on brand, size and type of battery.

    Had the same issue with the battery leaking and everything being corroded. I painted mine too and got rid of all the corrosion. The. I replaced the battery with a larger SLA battery. I’ve done that a couple years ago and never had any problem with the battery leaking anymore.

    I use what ever Case has as equivalent. It’s called Case Hy-Tran Ultra. After all Case and NH are the same tractors. All my NH tractors use Case oils. Matter effect, I put Case oil in my Mahindra too! Warranty no issue, the Master Tran G134 wasn’t that great either.

    Here in Canada I use a can of Proform PF570 available at Carquest. It’s hard wax in a spray can. Outperforms Fluid Film 10 times over for rust protection. Once it is dry, it just sticks better to the surface than I’ve seen. So look if you can find something equivalent to it.
