    They could have, but a fully charged battery is supposed to not freeze until -80°F according to exide technology….or so they say. But a discharged unit can freeze at 32° or so. but i have my doubts as to the truth to this.

    If his tractor has automatic battery disconnect, which ive never heard of, than how can the tractor be causing the issue. unless that clicking is something clicking on when you shut off the tractor. Get ahold of a dc clamp on meter to see if theres parasitic draw down.

    This drives me nuts when i service valves on Generac air cooled engines. About half the time my 1/2” crowsfoot wrench wont work and i have to use 13mm. Maybe 50% of the time. The engine is made in USA….. should not need metric anything. But they switch between both standards throughout unit.

    No. Out here my 10 acres is tax exempt ag on 9 of it. 1 acres is for horses. So i pay property tax on the 1 acre, which does not amount to much as its undeveloped. My 20 acres is tas exempt 18 acres for trees. 2 acres taxed with house, barn, shop etc.

    Sure have. Tire went flat and popped of the rim. Been there done that. you may be lucky enough to reair it up by pulling wheel off of tractor and laying it on a bucket, adding air while jockying around tire on rim. Sometimes works without lubing rim up . If not, trip to les schaub.

    There is supposed to be an rubber insert under the ridge cap. At least there is on my buildings. But their outbuildings and not a house. My ridge is not vented. I have no idea how they keep moisture out of a vented metal ridge.

    I have a Milwaukee V28 kit with 2 batteries in a canvas tote bag high up in my shop shelving unit. Ihave not used it since i got the dewalt 20V units. That V28 can wear you out quickly. Very heavy unit. plus the dang batteries are now over $180 each.

    I keep a few spare single and double relays on the stock bench in shop. I had issue with the twin relay that runs rear windshield wiped and the stop solenoid relay over the years. Luckily there are many relays, but only 2 part numbers on my tractor, so easy to stock parts.

    I replaced my pto switch and relay a few years back due to intermittent failures. That solved the issue. I didnt want a few dollars in parts to make tractor pto not work in winter to power my blower.
