Often there are well-meaning laws and rules that force people into difficult decisions. The case mentioned was of a terminally ill person who faced a future of great pain that would only worsen each day. He apparently felt there was only one option to end it but also had another difficult...

There has been a strong argument that aluminum has contributed to the Alzheimer epidemic. I avoid drinking out of aluminum cans or using aluminum cookware. Of course this has been thoroughly and scientifically debunked by research sponsered by the aluminum industry. ;) As always, do your own...

Ever heard of Dr. Russell Blaylock? Very smart man. Dr. Russell L. Blaylock is a respected medical doctor who is unafraid to challenge establishment thinking. I absolutely agree that it reaches a point where professional care is needed. Providing "infant care" to an adult is not the same as doing the same for a baby or small child. It comes down to how much you are willing to endure and at which point is the person completely "gone" mentally. My MIL...

My wife reminds her siblings that their mother did that for the five of them while they were unable yet to care for themselves. That now for a similar short period of time she is the one who needs that same loving care.

Yes, I agree that it is different for older couples getting together later in life. But would never leave new spouse out of inheritance even in that case. There would be an equitable split between her and blood relatives.

Yeah, and sometimes there are more litigants and defendants, along with a jury. I think that it has less to do with modern tech than simple "freedom". Our "civilized" cultures have evolved from "don't kill each other" to "don't hurt anyone's feelings". And it is not just the woke-ism, but many other aspects of our lives are under greater control and restrictions on our...
