That's so true. Squeezing a mini-X that is 3-feet wide, or even narrower, between buildings or into a backyard, or under a house is sometimes the best solution. Komatsu makes a mini-X that is even smaller than these 1-tonners. I love Takeuchis, my first real experience on excavators.

Very innovative, JAY I find that the left-side hand lever to actuate the thumb, while using the right hand joystick to actuate the bucket cylinder allows good feathering control for grapple work.
