    Kubota Hydraulic Pump Question B8200

That is true. And the HST version of the old B8200 has hydraulic return filtration. I also had the contemporary B20, which also had major water-in-the-oil problems, which is a PITA to fix. Multiple flushings of the sump, and pressure filter changes still left white gooey sediment in the tank...

    Kubota Hydraulic Pump Question B8200

Just saw this thread. You don't say where you are, but here on the left coast, I would sell that tractor with all those repairs for $9K with loader, even if it has gear trans. I bought a cheap B8200 off a friend just a couple of years ago, and it had water in the oil, and needed some other...

I agree, the serrated edge looks like a winner. Maybe some TBN user with the BXPANDED tooth can testify. It has been out for quite a while now. I have used my ripper tooth to rip roots and destroy sandstone rocks. Love it. I don't want the QA attachment as mounting/dismounting is very...

I measure 3.25" (83mm) CTC for pin-to-pin spacing, and 92mm for the ear spacing. As for 1" vs. 25mm pins, using 25mm pins in 1" holes is doable, but sloppier than I like. I wonder if the person at BXPANDED was only approximating pin diameter. I suspect that both the JD and BX hoes have 25mm...

I also got a reply back, and was told that they use 1" pins for the JD260RT ripper tooth sold for the BX and small JD hoes. That's a surprise as Deere loaders I have owned used 25mm pins, not 1", as I recall. What dimensions did you send? It seems to me that the pin diameter is the key...

That's so true. Squeezing a mini-X that is 3-feet wide, or even narrower, between buildings or into a backyard, or under a house is sometimes the best solution. Komatsu makes a mini-X that is even smaller than these 1-tonners. I love Takeuchis, my first real experience on excavators.

Importing and modifying a new mini excavator from China

Our local monthly auction always seems to have a few new 3-4T Chinese units. and the max bids are usually under $15K. Some are AGT, and the others I don't know who makes them. All seem to have Yanmar or Kubota diesels, servo controls, swing boom, adjustable track. I suspect the importer is...

Sorry to hear that, FRED. 85hr is lot of use for less than a year of ownership. I am only at 150hr after 5.5 years. I can't do much digging in the summer due to lack of moisture, but I will be using my machine again soon. If you are near a good sized metro area, you should be able to sell it...

I looked it up. Part# JD260RT, US$299 plus shipping and tax I sent BXpanded a request for more info on pin size. There is a good chance it uses 25mm pins, which will make it likely that it fits the one-ton-ish China mini-Xs without modification. I like the serrated edge. Thx for posting.

OK, so you set the main RV to 2500, which is fine. If you want to find out what the RV in the pump is set to, and adjust it, it is going to be harder. The best way I can think to do that is to put a tee fitting on the retract side of the the dipper cylinder, and install a gauge there. The...
