So if your battery failed out in the field, you could disconnect the + cable on it, connect your power pack and get home?

In project farm testing, he hooked them up to vehicle cables to jump start with the battery out. How did that work?

As others have mentioned, these little power packs are very small and can start most dead engines. Lots more handy that cables ever where. Seems we have only ever used ours to start other peoples engines. Go figure.

I'm quite happy while clearing some trail, but not while bringing someone in to ER. It ruins my whole day really.

I found it 96% charged after sitting in our truck for about 3+- years. It needs a special wall charger that I can not locate. Maybe needed that was not the best thing........ Update! Found the charger and its doing it now.

Like the farm project guy found in his testing these, the claimed power reserve it less than advertised. I figure the same thing when I purchase aftermarket battery's for my makita tools.
