    Terramite Parts Source

The hydro is the front pump. It's a variable displacement pump that drives the hydraulic motor in front of the rear diff. The gear pump is at the rear and powers the hydraulics (loader and BH). It's possible the pump is bad but unlikely. I would look at the hoses first. Mikbe recently had a...

Glad to hear you got it going. I would've put money on #6 being the culprit but a bad restiction in any hose is gonna give you headaches.

    Another no forward or reverse

From what I can see in your pictures, it looks good inside. Did you down load the Eaton manual? It says one of the problems could be a bad relief valve among other things. Also in your first post you asked about a collapsed hose. The suction line on the left side is only for the hydraulics. The...

Your hydro is a model 70142. The manual can be found here- https://www.eaton.com/content/dam/eaton/hydraulics/pumps/pumps-documents/eaton-medium-pressure-closed-circuit-manual-piston-pump-variable-displacement-repair-information-07-623-en-us.pdf I think you have to go through a distributor for...

    Another no forward or reverse

First make sure it's not something simple. Check the foot pedal shaft where it connects to the hydro and make sure something didn't loosen up there. The fact that the hydraulics are working indicates that the engine to trans coupler is probably ok. Just so you know, the forward section is the...

    T-6 Glow Plug Timer number/source

Get a Standard Motor Parts RY53. It's the exact same part repackaged. I bought mine at Rockauto a couple of years ago for about $25 but they are out of stock now. Did a quick search and it looks like everybody is out of stock. When I got my T-6, the wiring was a mess and somebody had wired in a...

A look inside the Terramite plant

It was a Chinese guy that bought them and had plans to update everything. A couple of years ago I read up on the guy, don't remember his name, but he was a very successful business man who was a Stamford business school graduate. Didn't seem like the kind of guy to invest millions if he didn't...

    T6 FEL Question

I used 4140 prehard for the bushings and chrome plated 4140 prehard for the pins. I cut the welds on the pins in the lathe to remove the retainers from the old pins and welded them on the new ones. Every thing got sandblasted, the big stuff got done out in the yard with the pressure pot. The...

    T6 FEL Question

As far as repairs, the loader was the biggest issue. The pumps, motors and engine didn't need any work so they all just got cleaned and painted. The valves and cylinders were all gone through and it got all new hoses and all new wiring. Everything was sandblasted and epoxy primed. I used Case...

    T6 FEL Question

I bought ES323R tie rod ends for mine. I bought off brand (Ultra Power) from Rock auto for a whopping $4.47 each. The taper stuck through the arm just enough that the nut didn't really pull the end tight in the hole so I used a washer big enough to go over the taper and then a smaller one on...

    T6 FEL Question

Glad to see you got it and it fixed the problem. Finally got to poke around your website a bit- Nice setup you got there. Always thought I'd like to try forging but I know I don't have the time to take my time and learn it the right way. That's a whole different skill set, knowing when the...

    T6 FEL Question

You have a SPK valve and according to this you should be able to use both circuits at the same time. I think your frozen linkage is causing your problem. It sounds like you have to skills and tools to do whatever you need to to get this thing apart and repaired without screwing something up...

    T6 FEL Question

There is an internal snap ring in the bottom of the spool that holds a flat plug in place. When you remove that the spool can slide down and if I remember right there is a c clip that holds the centering spring and retainer to the bottom end of the spool. Remove that and the spool should come...

    T6 FEL Question

That's a neat idea with the vise grips. If you can get at the right side with a punch while it's under pressure and give it a few good taps it might break loose. You might have to remove the nut from the end of the handle and try moving the handle back to change the angle on the ball joint...

Getting closer- found a Kubota radiator with Denso #122000-0641. Looks to be a little wide for the T-6 but maybe Kubota used the 0631 in something. https://www.ebay.com/itm/362519369911?chn=ps&mkevt=1&mkcid=28

    Terramite T5B won't move.

Here's what a 4 wheel drive setup looks like. The short hose right on top is supplying charge pressure from the rear pump to the front. The charge pump supplies relatively low pressure oil to the piston pump so it doesn't have to suck it up. If your charge pump is not supplying enough oil to the...

    Terramite T5B won't move.

Look for numbers stamped on the flange. Then google those numbers and you should be able to find a manual for it on the Eaton website. Mine is a T6 with 4 wheel drive so it's a little different than yours. Here's a pic of the stamping on mine.

    T5B backhoe control valve rebuild

I did mine on my T6 last year. I took them all apart and measured up the orings and ordered them from McMaster Carr. I got bags of 100 but I think it was still a lot cheaper than kits. The only special tools you should need are a set of picks to get the orings out of the inside grooves. I think...

    Tire opinion wanted, Terramite rears

I found the paperwork and I was wrong. The fronts (23-12-10.50) came from Simple Tire for 146.97 shipped and the rears ( 31X15.50-15) came from TiresShipped2You.com for 425.56 shipped. The wheels were sandblasted, epoxy primed and painted with Rustoleum equipment enamel with hardener. Working on...

    Tire opinion wanted, Terramite rears

I bought the BKT315's for my T6 last fall. I can't find my paperwork right now but I think the rears came from simple tire and the fronts from Amazon. Haven't used the machine yet, but the reviews I found at the time were pretty good for BKT tires.
