It's a Kubota M4711, which is a rebranded Bradco 611. The holes are to allow me to weld the 2 outer layers to the middle layer besides just the perimeter weld. They are probably a little bigger than they need to be, but it won't hurt anything.

I just use velcro for strap management, you can buy a 60ft roll of 3/4" for about $13. It's reusable, works for storage and excess strap management. I keep the roll in the truck in case I need extra, just cut off a piece the size you need.

It is, the only cartridge filter is the hst filters, the only other hyd filter is the suction screen. I couldn't remember the exact pressure of the charge circuit but most are only 1-200psi. I would really like to see what the failed filters look like.

They are made but not common, they also make 13mm shoulder bolts which are more common. Maybe even try a 1/2 shoulder bolt as its not undersized like a normal 1/2 bolt.

FedEx ground is contract drivers, usually lots of turnover. The quality of driver is typically based on how good the contractor is.

I've been looking at the 55in Catawaba that's a little heavier so I can use it on the BX and L3240, will be on the heavy side for the BX but would be nice to have 1 grapple that can be used on both machines.

I've been mowing with the BX a few times now, so far I've been very happy with the cut quality. Mowing time is slightly higher but not much, I do enjoy seat time more then the ZD, feels more relaxed. I even get some striping, not as pronounced as the ZD, but still decent.

They are back apparently and getting orders out, some people will balk at their past business practices, but they make a good product and appear to have changed how they do business now.

Do you have the SSQA or pin on bucket? If you have the SSQA I like the EA grapple for the 55" lightweight at 215lbs., catawaba has a 55" that's 212lbs and a bit less money but seems to be build a little lighter duty on the lower tines. If you have the pin on, EA makes a really nice grapple for it.

Only during certain criteria/operating conditions, catalyst have been on diesels before dpf and def. Due to the high combustion temps associated with diesels, NOx has always been an issue. Even some of the newer diesels have reduced CR to help try to lower NOx output.

I have the 18" and 24" buckets, being that mine was a M4711 it didn't have provisions for a factory thumb so I had to make my own. Still finishing a few details on it but otherwise works pretty good. I made it work with both buckets which took some effort.

Those are nice hoes, thats a Bradco 611B rebadged for Kubota. I have the earlier version on my L3240 and it does a very nice job, I'm sure it's even better on a heavier tractor.

You don't need an electric to go on the loader. You leave the diverter in the ssqa position and use your 3rd function to actuate the ssqa. If you mount an implement such as a grapple, you would mount it, get off the tractor, hook up your hydraulics hoses, then switch the diverter to the quick...

I would mount it on the loader at the 3rd function quick couplers, save you from running additional hoses.

You still wouldn't have to get of the tractor to switch implements, only when connecting something that's going to use the 3rd function, which you would have to get off to connect the hoses anyway.

I have 2 of these cheaper European supplied diverters like posted, I haven't been very impressed. As expected, internal leak down is a bit more then I like, but the external leaks are getting annoying.

Mine also came off a 2660 but must have been a 54in deck as the boot bracketry didn't match up at all. Also the rear mounting brackets were different, but luckily I had the correct brackets in my pile of random Kubota parts! Tractor data says 08-13 for the 60 series.

I wouldn't paint the aluminum, usually just traps more moisture, I've found the best prevention is washing thoroughly and running the deck after to help dry it. The dryer the grass when mowing the better.

Do you have a picture of the damage? I've seen aluminum spindles have bad corrosion in areas, most likely from the moisture from decomposing grass, also when decomposing the grass can change PH which could cause problems. I doubt if the casting was what bad it would have made it through qc.

No, I have an M4711, which is essentially the same backhoe, just an earlier model. Mine is on an L3240, and it's on the big side for my tractor, which weighs over 5,000 lbs.

Typically key switches located like that will use a plastic "umbrella" molded onto the key that fits over the switch to keep water out. Without that, the switches have a tendency to fail pretty quick if out in the weather. Might see if you can find a key like that for your switch. Similar to these

I think lineX would hold up fine, I've seen a number of steps coated with it and no problems after years of use off road. It's soft enough that the sand being kicked up won't wear it down, just absorbed the impact.

Not a 3rd function, but I did a diverter setup for the front and added rear remotes which run off the power beyond so would be the same lines as 3rd function. What are you having trouble with?

If you really want to have a nice weld on heavier material, there's gas shielded flux core wire (dual shield as Lincoln calls it). We use it a lot at the shop for structural, puts a lot of metal down fast!

Check cables and make sure they have a good connection, is there a main relay or breaker? Possibly a usable link?

If it's a standard flooded lead acid battery, 12.64 is considered fully charged, some agm and other types of batteries can be higher, but anything over 12.64 you should be good for a flooded batt. Not sure where some people pull their info from.

Looked at a few different ones, but under the hydraulics, J43000 CONTROL VALVE shows the valve and where it attaches to the front trans case.

I usually check Messicks or Coleman for parts diagrams and to get an idea on pricing, but typically buy from my local dealer. Prices are typically within a couple of $'s and no shipping cost unless it's wholegoods.

Looking through the parts diagrams, it appears the control valve for the lift cylinder and the pressure relief is mounted to transmissions front case. Not sure if this could be where the leak is, but it's the only place I can see where the 2 systems connect together.

I believe that's the installed price, clutch components should only be about $600. It's not a fun job, just be carefull with your support/blocking when you split it. Is it a DT model?

I'm thinking about getting an older F650, best of both worlds. Cummins, Allison, good turning radius, air ride. Just hard to justify the added cost of driving a commercial vehicle.

I think those axles were about 3in wider and could turn close to 45°, way better than the earlier models.

They went to a wider front axle with a better turning radius, can't remember if it was at the same time they went to coils or not. If it has flares on the front fenders, it has the wider front axle.

Diesel? If the rear tires were at 60 without a load it'll make it ride rough, if you look at the door tag there is usually a loaded and unloaded tire pressure for the rear. Still going to be a rougher ride then a 1/2 ton, but lowering the rear tire pressure helps a lot.

Not necessarily, there are a lot of 3600rpm liquid cooled units out there. My 25kw is 3600, uses a Mitsubishi 1.5L 4cyl, same engine that was put in the Mirage.

The B2x10 series tractors had known issues with the front hubs failing like that. I believe the replacement has more area to the weld.

You can buy individual parts from Rapidair directly. I prefer the ridge pipe style Rapidair myself, but it is a bit more expensive. Avoid PVC, it works until it doesn't. It can fail pretty spectacularly, and be dangerous is someone is nearby. Iron or copper pipe is another option.

Blade was already hooked up, I dropped the scarifiers and apparently it interfered just enough that while operating the bar stressed the tip of the hhooks. To be clear, the balls were fully seated and locked into the hooks at the time.

This is the box blade, I think if I ground the tips of the hook a little it wouldn't have happened. Maybe if I had gone with the Cat 1 instead of the 1/2 it probably wouldn't have been an issue.
