It’s bizarre with the 11 second intervals, I’d think if if it was a bearing it’d be constant. It’s worth a look tho.

Hey guys, just gonna toss this out here, my 2011 F2680 with 72” RD deck has a quick intermittent vibrating rattle sound coming from the right blade spindle, precisely every 11 seconds at full throttle. Can’t see anything wrong with it. I’m stumped.

You can definitely do it with the KX040, but you’ll do more with a KX057, you’d be happier with the latter. You can also order it set up with 2 sets of hydraulic remotes, which I highly recommend.

I’m using the two lines for the thumb and I had to run a case drain back to the hydraulic tank, there’s also a wiring harness to run.

Hey Joel, Your machine has 1 GPM more hydraulic flow than mine, weight should be about the same. The machine handles the weight of the head fine, but you have to go easy with it. I got the non VT head, because of flow requirements, 13 GPM for non VT, 17 GPM for VT. One dealer highly recommended...

I paid $21k just for the head as it sits. I only have one set of auxiliary hydraulics, so no, it’s one or the other. If I ever get a new machine it’ll definitely have two sets of auxiliaries!

Is it an hour meter within the tachometer? If so, on that tractor it’s probably cable driven. Check the cable, should run from the cluster down to the engine.

Nothing too special, Channellock 460, but a lady was putting out “FREE” things at the end of her driveway, I asked if she was really giving these away, her reply was, “yes, take em!” They were a lil bit crusty, but I’ve wire brushed and oiled them, good as new functionality.

This is cheating, but a buddy of mine called me today and offered me half a log truck load of oak/maple. I haven’t gotten out in my woods this summer, so this was a nice surprise. The biggest one in there is 36” across, but most of it is nice size for handling and straight.

Still love this thing! I would’ve made one heck of a mess with the tractor getting to where I dumped this stump.

After trying several angles of approach he brought it around to the passenger side and leaned it up against the door. It looked like he was trying to cut it, but was having difficulty. We continued on our way.

Picked up a Rockwell Delta 42" belt sander today for $75.00 off of CL, works great and came with a box of 10 new belts. The plastic tension pulley has a small crack in it, I'll see what I can come up with as a replacement, but it works fine. Other than that, I'm very pleased with it.

Brought home a new to me 2009 Timberwolf TW-24C conveyor today. It hasn't had a whole lotta use. I think this'll compliment my TW5 very nicely.

I picked this millstone up today, don't really know anything about it, other than the owner found it on an old farm he purchased years ago. It'll be cool yard art. It's 28" in diameter and 10" thick. The center is 5"x5". Not granite, sandstone maybe? Any thoughts on it?

Antique shop find yesterday for $5.00. It was frozen up pretty good, I took it apart, cleaned and it's working great.

Went out through the swamp today.

My $400 "parts" machine is now an excellent runner! I fixed the wiring, fuel lines, put in a new low pressure fuel pump and it fired right up! Runs awesome, steering is very responsive, brakes even work good! I went through and hit every grease fitting I could find and oiled all of the linkage.

Managed to package this machine in with a couple other items, gave $400 for it. Looks to be in good shape, tracks are excellent! Only things it's missing is the fuel pump. Talked to the mechanic when I was leaving and he said the fuel pump was bad, that's it. Fingers crossed. Just got it home.

Clearing out around my little garage out back the last few days with the excavator. Got to chipping today. Going to use some of what's left to keep logs for the sawmill off the ground.

Had a nice 40 degree day today, so got working on everything I had down.

Boy is this machine handy. Pulled out and stumped a dozen overgrown Christmas trees, maple, brush and briars. Reclaiming the area around the little old garage. The trees in the last picture are now out.

I took out a tulip tree and stump today, little better than 24" at the butt, used the trunk for leverage after digging it out. It obviously wasn't as tough as the 36" oak, but it had a tougher root system then I anticipated.

I got the stump into the dump wagon yesterday. Talk about a challenge.

My Dad's been gone nearly 5 years and he took down some nice pine a couple years before he passed. I thought they'd be no good for the Woodmizer. I bucked one up today and found good wood all the way through. I bucked up 6 more and the same, nice and solid.

Got the rear remotes squared away, needed 2 new quick connects, 2 sets of new mounting blocks and boots.

I was able to get my hands on an OEM pair of stabilizers, they came today. I'm going to clean them up and paint them to match my 4610. It took a lot if time to find them, but it's time well spent as far as I'm concerned.

The aftermarket stabilizers definitely leave a lot of room for improvement! First chance I get at OEM at a decent price, I'm grabbing them. Are the weights 75 pounders? If you want OEM, make him an offer for all 8. Mine are this style for mounting on the cast iron hanger. 88lbs a piece

While waiting on the call from Milwaukee I picked up this new US Jack 20 ton bottle jack. Price on it is $290 plus shipping. Picked it up for $84 plus shipping on eBay. This boy's heavy at nearly 40 pounds. Made in USA. Bigger than I really need, but couldn't pass on the price.
