Do You Have a Tractor Shed/Barn?

Most wood splitters are backwards! The wedge should always be on the end of the beam. This allows way less handling and the firewood can drop to a belt conveyor or into a low enough trailer or truck. Good photos Rob!

Thanks for this info. My tractor hydro pump is 8.6, thought I had read somewhere it was 20 gpm.

How to bleed hydraulics on front end loader?

"Tractor is an '86 Ford 2110 (Jap model)." After running it some today, I'm fairly sure my issue is the spool valve. After an hour of run time I went to park it. When lowering the bucket (FEL) the bucket dropped a couple inches then proceeded to climb slowly! (lever in the down position) Looks...

    DIY fire pit

Nice! Dry pine split small burns hot and fairly fast. Follow with small split hardwood. Smaller wood (3" or less) burns better/hotter for outdooor fires.

How to bleed hydraulics on front end loader?

Thank you M59! I did recently change all hydraulic fluid and replace it, and a new filter. Some improvement which allows/encourages me to run it more, but still not as good as other tractors I've owned before. Good excuse to upgrade to a single stick, possibly 3 spool with electric 3rd...

    It's Logging Season-Northeast

That photo is exactly what I was looking for! Thinking outside the box, looking at other peoples designs, then building/modifying for my personal use. Please pardon my snappy response earlier. Bad Lyme morning and I get cranky when I hurt. Thanks for the ideas RI. I'm over near Gardiner, but...

    It's Logging Season-Northeast

    1) $3500 is a lot for a pretty piece of steel. (I'm land rich-cash poor) 2) I already have logging trails 3) temperamental controls (on two I have worked with) 4) PITA sheet metal hiding a (normally) quick fix issue. Sure it would be nice to have a new, or near new Farmi. No argument there! I...

How to bleed hydraulics on front end loader?

My FEL is most times slow to respond, comes up about a foot, stalls, then goes up smooth at 1500+ rpms. Letting the FEL down it responds well with initial stop but then creeps down 3 to 4 inches fairly quickly. I'm suspecting air in the system is causing this. Can anyone explain where/what line...

What part of 'Quick Disconnect' does Kubota not understand !

I've never been a fan of 'engineers'! But, that's with anything but tractors. Recently working on my truck and car, prove my hate is well earned. Recently replacing a brake shoe spring on my Ford 2110, I realized some engineers actually paid attention in their schoolin'!

Exhaust options for my 4’ x 4’ generator shed

14 years off grid here... my 5 x 8 genny shed has 6' walls, and is open between the rafters. I thought the same a you, tried the exhaust extension but shitcanned the idea. Even with flex pipe it was a pain to keep aligned. I just found a scrap piece of expanded metal ( 16x20") and cut a square...

    Fluid Type, question:

1986 Ford 2110, specs online say 134a for this tractors hydraulic system. Of course when I look for "134a Hydraulic Fluid" I get all the sales pitches but find nothing pertaining to my search. Does this particular fluid have a generic name/brand/number? Or, what would be the replacement fluid...

    Thanks TBN!

Been a while since I've owned a tractor. And it's been a while since I've been on this forum. I recently purchased a 1986 Ford 2110 4x4 with a Dual (brand) Loader. Large frame for a 38 hp, but it's old school and I can work on it without a Tech and fancy computer hook ups. Just wanted to say...

    1986 2110 Hydraulics ?

Thanks T. Figured it out, same fluid all around unlike my last two (older) tractors. After several videos on u-tube I'm guessing the screen(s) need to be cleaned, so that's my next move trying to improve loader operations.

    1986 2110 Hydraulics ?

Can anyone here point me to the filler for hydraulics on this tractor please? The pump sends fluid to the loader, but also to the lift arm 3-pt hitch. New filter at the pump but I can't seem to find where to add fluid. I'm waiting for the service manual to get here. Just thought someone here...

This is the new house I started building in May 2008. It is 28 x 36 one and two-thirds floors. Backhoe  Question on [re]attaching a backhoe...

I just bought a Case 430 with a backhoe on it. Problem is (or was) it was put on by a real genius using 3/4" threaded rod, then had plates welded (if I dare call them welds) to the frame.
