Purchase one gallon of Super Clean at Walmart (less than $10.00). Ad it 1:1 (use water) to empty fuel tank. Agitate. Rinse with water. Dry. Change fuel filter and fill with fresh fuel. Use caution. Super Clean is a very aggressive cleaner containing harsh chemicals that can damage skin.

No issues. I would not mix different brand oils. The additive packages are likely not the same. I would find a brand you trust and stick with it. Supertech is very good oil and has a large following.

Supertech Walmart brand oils are made by Warren Petroeum. Their oils and other lubricants are very good and are usually found at bargain prices. I would not hesitate to use their oil in my tractor, car, motorcycle, lawn tractor and 4 stroke weedeater.

Use the manufacturer's recommended gear lube. Some gear systems may contain non-ferrous metals. This likely requires GL-4 gear oil. If there are no non-ferrous metals, GL-5 with the EP additives is the correct choice. The so-called "stinky" gear lubes with EP additives tolerate much higher loads...

Keep the oil clean, keep the temperature at normal and plow at any RPM where the engine maintains RPM with the governor and all will be well.
