    Comparison B2601 vs. LX2610

Old thread but still relevant. Regarding the comment about the mower competition by Messicks. Neil also had a video posted about this flail mower (has since been taken down) where a hidden chunk of wood was hit, wedged in and damaged the mower.

Ford 1210 put a hole in rear axle housing. Pics. Fix ideas?

Lucky it's in a no support area. Yes cast aluminum can be welded by someone experienced in aluminum welding. I did say experienced and not a welder who seldom works with aluminum. This is non structural repair. Get it super clean and epoxy repair will be fine.

    Harbor Freight Quick Hitch Discontinued?

I think SpeeCo and Land Pride have cat 1 quick hitches that use cat 1 pins. The Land Pride is a QH10. There are a few off brands also. I'm modifying the Harbor Freight hitch to fit tighter. At $12 total cost (Rural King) it's not that expensive for precision upper and lower bushings.

    Harbor Freight Quick Hitch Discontinued?

    Harbor Freight Quick Hitch Discontinued?

To use cat 1 implements on a QH it needs to be adapted up to cat 3 pins. 1 1/4 top and 1 7/16 inch bottom. One inch water pipe doesn't fit on a quality QH. Plus the ID is wrong unless a bushing is inside. For the OD it will work on the top of a cheap out of spec one such as the Harbor freight.
  20. M

    Harbor Freight Quick Hitch Discontinued?

I have one. It's built durable enough. But - Bottom and top hooks are out of spec (too big of slots) plus latches on bottom too far away from implement pins. Implements such as a tiller jump around too much in the hitch. Normal looseness in a three point hitch plus excessive play in the...
