    I have put a water sprinkler under a truck before and let it go for a half hour to water log dried on mud to then be easilly sprayed off. I don't know why I don't do this every spring on all the vehicles to get the salt off. So simple and I just never thought to do it.

    One thing I have found to actually keept he salt off is mud flaps. They do seem to do a decent job. I use this vehicle mainly in the winter, and I put mud flaps on it. It does a decent job of keeping the salt off. This picture was even after driving around on salted roads.
