I don't believe the sleeve has any relation to the jam nut. Seems the sleeve is just slipped or pressed over it all and crimped in the front so it stays on and can't be adjusted without a dealer noticing. It's just a cap. Not sure what he's saying either. Lol.

That is exactly an issue I have with my bobcat. With the wood chips it fine, but doing gravel or dirt I usually have to drive into a pile, stop then lift. No driving and lifting the heavy stuff at all. If this mod will help with that, I'd totally do it.

Not bad at all. For my Bobcat dealer wants I think it was $500. I prefer this setup simply because of the ease of install and removal. I have woods in the back half and definitely can't have the roof on going through there.
