Check the Loader Bracket mounting bolts and tighten to what ever your manual says (my little one is something like 110 ft/lbs). They tend to come loose, especially on a newer tractor.

Ground Anchors (Mobile Home Anchors).. Run them in, lag bolt with washer(s) into the sills. This is the way all them metal RV covers are mounted and it passes code. get the 3/8" or thicker ones and never worry. Amazon.com

Try to have that bath fan vent properly out the side wall. The gable vent is not the correct place for venting it as the moisture can still be pushed back into the attic and condense. You can also tie it into the light switch so it's always on when the light is on. Better is to have an 'Off...

For the T4 vs the T6? Totally up to the user. I, personally, use the T6 but I would guess that if you are having to change the oil pretty frequently, like in construction where you can put 100+ hours on a machine in a week or 2, the cheaper oil would be more desirable.

IMO, that line was defective. Even if you were trying to dig out a small'ish stump, it should not have burst as the hydraulics should have went into relief/bypass. While talking to them about replacement, have them look at the relief pressure setting as well.

I have used several different 'untreated' woods outside, including OSB. The trick is to use oil based and thin it down no more than 50/50 and put a couple of good coats on so it soaks in, like a stain. Then do the normal top coats. You can prime with a good latex primer after the thinned coats...

This is my most used impact outside of the 1/4' impact driver.. The thing is real smooth and a beast for its size.

Seems like a reasonable precaution. The throttle on my Kioti is always at idle at start-up, even if I left it wide open at shut-down. You must pull the throttle to idle before it will respond again.

Its probably the sudden increase over the norm. That sets a red flag for a bit. It should correct itself in a few months if there are no more sudden increases.

See f you can disconnect that from the PTO handle and make sure the lever can move through it's full range of motion. Also make sure the shaft can move though *it's* full range.

Mine uses the full range and is pretty much infinitely adjustable from 1-10. When I get a chance, I will look and see where the adjustment can be made. Or if it can..

If you could wire up a 'dead man' type switch that would need to be held, it might be safer.. Dunno how that would work for your setup and work needed though.

Unless you have some sort of 'starting capacitor' I don't know of any that have a capacitor. That said, a normal capacitor would be charged before you moved your hand to the start switch. I think you found the real culprit in a sticky drain valve.

Most skid steers have a much higher hydraulic flow rate to power those, with some having even higher still. Your tractor has a flow rate of ~11gpm. You need something north of 40gpm or more unless you are going with a tractor specific front cutter like Lane Shark, but they wont even sell you one...

I would bet its vented. You might be able to get NAPA or Farm Store to try and match it, at least in fit. Try JD dealers as well as they always seem to be able to get oddball parts.

I kept the metal shield over the PTO stub.. I also keep the plastic PTO Shaft shield on, including what covers the u-joints.

Definitely looks like it was a 2 piece cap and the outer shell is missing, though a quick google didnt bring up a pic of it.

Comparing my Kioti to a neighbors LS, the LS is not as tough. Not even close, IMO. My Kioti has been used for everything from mowing, hogging, clearing brush and trees, spreading 25+tons of gravel, snow clearing, etc, etc with no problems. And he had to send the LS in for leaky injectors...

Agree with the coils being a problem and first thing to check next.. Another could be sticky valves, but check the coils first. While running, pull the spark wire and see if there's a change, then swap coils side to side and check again..

If I had the Makita 18v batteries and was only buying one impact, the XWT14Z would be it. Hands down.. The only reason I have the XWT17Z is the higher torque is good for things like bush hog blade nuts and maybe some suspension work, but I use the XWT14Z 99% of the time.

I used one a few years ago before an 11hr each way drive. Got home a few days later and smelled oil burning. They didn't change the oil filter, but *had* loosened it apparently.. Checked oil and was 6qts low on a 9qt system. 🤦‍♂️ How the engine wasn't destroyed, I'll never figure out.

True MAPP, yes.. That 'Mapp Pro' (Ultra Gas) they make now is pretty much the same as regular propane. Buy the best turbo torch and use propane unless you have a Oxy/Acetylene setup

Usually pulling the zerk and spraying in the grease hole with brake clean until it runs out, then replacing with a new zerk works for me. Works better if you can manipulate the joint while spraying the brake clean.

You're taking load off the bearings when you do that. Free spinning a bearing usually detects very bad bearings and may look ok until you throw that side load on them. And don't forget the idler bearing. There's not much else it could be if the pulleys and clutch are not slipping.

Are the pulley keys still good? Otherwise gotta be a bearing.

Definitely agree with the 'skip the backhoe' advise either way. You can always get a mini-ex, and even the mid-tier Chinese ones (sacrilege!) will do more and be easier to use and move than the backhoe.

What are the size of the blades? Could it be the blade tips syncing and rubbing then unsyncing again? Even if the right size, a non-concentric center hole, or slop in the hole or spindle would also allow it to happen. The spindle pulley we can see doesn't look mounted normally.

The 2620 has a rated PTO of about 20hp, while the 4020's is about 35hp. Assuming they are the same strength wise, you are still over powering it. As far as I know when people turn up the power on the 25/26 series, they keep it at 10hp increase or less.

For just a general purpose grease, it's ok, but the Mystic starts with a higher viscosity base and has a higher Timken Load Bearing rating. Either way, Rural King has just about all the brands of grease at ~50% less than other stores, including Walmart.

It seems to tangle up in the spool after a few bump feeds and the only way to fix it is to pull it apart and rewind, over and over again. I have a couple of 2 stroke ones that work fine so not in a real hurry to test other spool heads atm. Will get to it some day :)

The butyl versions are very good at resealing around the fasteners. I use butyl tape everywhere now, as flashing, under metal, etc..

Starting usually requires that the gear/range select be in Neutral, Brake pressed, and a butt in the seat. Getting off while running requires Parking brake on and gear/range in Neutral.

I rinse mine off with a hose, and clean out the screens and radiators, after mowing the field and once in awhile in between. If you are using a foam cannon, I can't see not using a decent ceramic wash/rinse. I wouldn't be polishing it by hand though :)

Pull the battery cables off while you are looking around and let it sit for more than 10mins. Maybe it'll reset the ECM. And actually ohm out all the fuses, dont just eyeball them. Better yet is to check the voltage on both sides if you can.
