How much do you add? Capful? At what rate?

Take meter and trace continuity for each wire from known source. Track wires back as far as needed and disregard wire color codes as some do not match drawings but some do. Drawings do help align pin configuration into plugs so that if someone works on tractor in the future pin configuration...

I was working in the evening with little light. Bad eyes, too. While holding a flashlight in mouth. I did find a tiny phillips screw in the side of the switch arm. Once I removed it the handle came off. Replaced with a push/pull switch for golf cart. Thanks for the tip.

Had to replace mine, too. 40+ years old. Wish could have fixed before they shorted out and smoked.

How did you fix your headlight switch? Mine stopped working years ago and I am looking at options. How did you get that switch loose from the dash? Thanks

These are the drawings I used to rewire mine with NEW regulator. The old regulator was so rusted and apparently something was fried. Just follow the wires and make them like the drawing. I put new end connectors since my connectors were damaged and worn out.
