What mower were you using? My CR has given me 10 years of flawless service and I have tons of leaves. I have experienced some of your issues but are all avoidable by slowing down or using it more often. I do find it's more effective behind my 42" Craftsman than my 61" Scag.

The rear remotes on my 2510 are constant flow. They run the BH.

Also, if anyone else runs in to this, before I fired up the tractor I twisted the key back to the glow plugs and the amber glow plug icon lit up on the dash. So if you're not getting that lit up this might help you zero it down to the safety controller.

Not Bobcat. They assemble them at a central factory and ship them to the dealers ready to sell. This was suppose to avoid dealer assembly issues but clearly it didn't work in this case.

This filter on my CX2510 was a bastard. It's kind of tucked in to a corner. The socket style I had wasn't deep enough and kept slipping off. The 15 inch pliers I mentioned before ended up getting it off.

And by drain the oil you mean make a giant mess? I assume this is a last resort method for you? I can't imagine doing this on every oil change. Also, what if it doesn't work? You've now deformed and ruined the integrity of the filter and none of the other methods will worth.

Digga 1DSS ordered. I got the 12 inch tungsten bit and made sure they spec'd the adjustable mount.

I'll have to check if they spec'd the movable mount or if that's the standard.

Should I consider the tungsten bits or standard? On the 12" bit the tungsten is another $75. If they're more for longevity versus the ground/rock they can get through then for my personal use it wouldn't be required.

The CX2510 has 11.3 total GPM flow and I've read it's in the neighborhood of 2500 psi. Obviously the power steering takes some of that GPM but assuming it's half or less it should be ok.

Yes, should be still under the "bumper to bumper" 2 year warranty. It's just going to be a pain to borrow a trailer and haul it up there, then the inevitable length of time the dealer has the tractor. If it's something small like a fuse I'd rather try to identify it and fix it myself.

Get the cheapest commercial quality zero turn mower you can find. Even a used unit with 200-300 hours. Using a ZT to mow will take you half or less time than a tractor mounted MMM or garden tractor/mower.

No I don't think so. The rear remotes are controlled by the lever/valve on the right fender. If I have that in the middle the valve is shut but I can still run the 3rd function. I assume it dumps back to the hydraulic tank.

Also, I cannot operate the grapple at the same time as the loader which I thought wouldn't be the case if running the 3rd function off the power beyond port. So maybe that's not what it's using?

The only place it's wrong is on their website and only regarding cubic inches. When the CX2510 initially hit their website the copy said it had a 3 range transfer case. They eventually fixed that, they just haven't fixed this one. It's just a typo.

I could certainly see Kioti underrating their engines to hit the 24.5hp limit. It's not like there's some government agency dyno testing compact tractor engines to make sure they don't make more HP than the company is reporting.

I believe everything after the 3A165 designates different tuning and emissions specific to the application and where the tractor is being sold.

Disagree. My CX2510 has no problem running around my property in high range with the BH attached (close to 4000 pounds). Without it it's even better. I would certain not have kicked a 3 speed transfer case out of bed but I have no complaints about the 2 speed I've got.

The 165 in the engine model name designates 1.65 liters. It's definitely the same engine.

I always 3 point turn to turn around. With any amount of moisture on the grass a zero degree turn will scalp the grass. Even slowing down too suddenly or speeding up too quickly can cause it as well.

I think the Kohler Command series is made in the US.

I doubt you'll have any issues with the Kohler. Got one in my Scag and in my old US made Craftsman from the early 2000s. Both are strong runners.

I just bought a Honda FG110 and it's great. You can pull off the outer tines to cultivate between narrow rows. Not as loud as the 2 cycle Mantis I used to have. Don't even need hearing protection. I'm looking forward to using this to keep the weeds knocked down this season.

This is probably why Bobcat decided to centrally assemble all their white Kiotis and ship them whole to their dealers. If Bobcat had a white CX2510 I would have bought it. They don't so I have an orange Kioti that was assembled by the dealer I bought it from.

You could get quite a bit bigger tiller with 34hp over 25, wood chipper and electric generator come to mind as well. Basically anything running off the PTO would benefit from more HP I'd think.

Can be measured. You need to find a PTO dyno. @Tractor Time with Tim and @EverythingAttachments have both shown how those work on youtube. The latter showing how you up the HP by increasing the fuel. There's also a post on here on the Kioti engines and points out the fueling screw you need...

Installed a retractable seat belt from Wesco Performance. So much better than the floppy one that came with the tractor. The retractor box has about a half inch of clearance to the rear remote lever.

Scag Tiger Cat with a Kohler 27hp and the suspension seat. If I were buying one now the only thing I'd change is going with an EFI engine. Mine has never been to a dealer but if it did have to go I'm guessing it'd be behind ALL the lawn care companies who make a living with these machines.

Totally doing this on my CX2510. I couldn't bring myself to cut the rod down and my ring of electrical tape is already wearing off. I might actually mark bucket level along with 2 and 4 inches down so when I dig I can have consistent runs into the ground.

When the bucket is flat on the ground is the end of the rod flush with the tube? If it's inside the tube maybe the dealer cut your rod too short. Pics would help.
