    New XR3135H

Just crossed 60 hours on my XR-3035H and all is well. I am learning a lot and doing things in hours that would have taken days without the tractor. Just about to get 8 acres fully "mowable" with all the 'cedar' (ash juniper), rocks and brush out of the way. More projects planned.

    Mowing  Dogs and Rotary Mowers

How many people put their dogs up when they use a rotary cutter? I have chains to try to stop flying rocks, and the dog loves to chase around the tractor, but so far I have not let the dog anywhere near when I use the rotary cutter? What's your opinion?

    LS XR3135H First Regen

First regen kicked off at 19.5 hours. I pulled the tractor out of the garage and set the throttle to about 1800 rpm, where I usually let it idle for about 10 minutes before working with it. The regen symbol flashed, along with "F00" on the display. Then the engine note changed and soon some...

    Good morning!!!!

Seem like just a few days ago I was worried about the stuff I hadn't mowed yet taking over, now I mostly think about getting rid of dry fuel to limit grass fires. They got really close in 2010 and 2011. At least the reservoirs are full!

Oil & Fuel  New LS XR3035H

Just filled the tank for the first time with 12 ppm low sulfur fuel. 6.6 hours on the 'Hobbs'. Getting used to the HST pedals and the loader, but already accomplishing a lot more per hour, and doing stuff I might not even try in this heat (100+ for the last week) without the tractor.

New Member in Central Texas with new LS XR3135H

Originally planned on a Kubota BX25, but decided I wanted a wider mower and more PTO HP for the $, and that I could rent an excavator when needed instead of getting the backhoe. It took about ten years to get rid of all the trash cedar trees and their stumps, then the drought stressed oaks plus...
