When I changed the hydraulic fluid in my L3940 GST, I bought 12 gallons of UDT2..... I put 10.5 gallons in the case. I put UDT2 in the axle......just because I had the extra 1.5 gallons.
If I remember correctly ......... Mechanical horsepower is the ability to move 550 pounds one foot in one second. So a 20 horsepower engine would move 11,000 pounds 1 foot in a second.
Last February, I purchased a L3940 GST. First thing I did was replaced all the fluids. If you are doing that yourself, I would encourage you to youtube how to change them prior to performing the tasks. Definitely, when changing the fuel filter.
I leave mine on ......... I cutter a bunch of farm lanes and set a side, so I drive it around. If nothing else the bucket is a good place to put a couple fuel cans and of course the cooler
If I remember correctly.....the base kit was L8398, the second position kit was L8393, and the third position kit was L8394. Each requires a valve in addition to the kits. The double acting valve was L8308 and the Float detent valve was L8309.

You have to pull the wheel off to access a little metal panel that needs to come off as well. It's a tight area but not that hard to install. When I installed all 3 the hardest part, that I can remember, was holding all the valves up and trying to start the threads on the long bolts holding them...

Did you talk to your county guy? They might have the flat face couplers and switch them out for you.
Or you could make an adapter by putting the male flat face on one side and a poineer female on the other. Looking at your picture the male coupler has Poineer 8010-4 wrote on it. Google it and...
