Due to living in a log home and not wanting to butcher a wall , I've customized and insulated , thimbled, double insulated vent threw a window. Not up to code worthy , but safe , and seasonal. Complete with duct tape seal.
I'm currently living in a 30 year old ranch LogHome built in 1979. Im curious if anybody has added on rooms with another section of Log or even stick built, to an existing building. I'm thinking of going out with a master bedroom bath suite. I'm not sure if I want sheetrocked walls on not
Has anybody have any experience with these cabs ? It's looking like one more year with my L111 for snow services this winter, and I'm looking for a little more comfort.
So far, asparagus tips , seed potatoes. Last year I must've trapped 50 and the same amount of chipmunks. Plus a few catbirds in the strawberries. Any ideas for deterrents . Can't use poisons. Dogs. Can't get a cat. Dogs. Any success with ground hot peppers ?

I'm looking for a decent quality cab, for snow season. Hopefully next. Where can I start looking. I've hit several on-line sites and they run between $900-$4000 . My guy quoted close to the high end. I just need something to keep the snow off me. For the last 7 seasons its been a JD L111 42"...
