New to tractors and bought a used John deere 2210
Lets just say it has had some issues but with your help I have fixed them all..
I have just ordered a new lift cylinder for the front end loader (the chrome shaft was pitted bad and the seal was leaking)
I was looking thru my service manual CD...
After fixing a few issues with my new /used tractor I found a new one (sigh)
One of the lift cylinders started leaking ...the Piston (shaft ? ) has some dings in it and most likely tore up the seal?
I have been looking online for a new unit or just the piston shaft and seal kit with no luck...
OK the alternator is working properly and the regulator is also but it is not charging the battery..
There is a connector (under the dash) that I get 13.2 volts or so out of and 11 .whatever on the other side of it (battery voltage) when I check each side ..(unplugged of course )

I just bought a used 04 2210 and the wires out of the alternator were taped together (connector was cut off) tape came off and rubbed frame and after putting meter on it..its toast ..my question is ...How do I know what wire goes where? There is a stripe on the green wire going from the wiring...
