    Kubota RTV Fill Plug

Thanks to The Google, I think there are two oil fill plugs as these engines are used in a variety of equipment. It would be nice if this info was in the dox.

    Kubota RTV Fill Plug

Hi folks - there's a fill plug on my 2014 RTV x1100c that is impossible to get to without removing a bunch of "stuff" (sorry for the high tech jargon). I haven't found info about it either. It is near the oil fill plug and is also labelled "oil" (I think). While standing on the right side of...

Owning a new(er) tractor that's too heavy to haul with your pickup?

Sorry for the repeat replies - your post reminded me of my friend who was happy to loan out his heavy equipment - he charged $125,000 for the first hour.

Owning a new(er) tractor that's too heavy to haul with your pickup?

Over the last 40 years - virtually all of my logger and heavy equipment friends have quit hauling their own equipment - most of them (the ones still alive and kicking) simply hire transport companies.

Owning a new(er) tractor that's too heavy to haul with your pickup?

My dealer comes out and I pay them (and others) to haul when necessarry. I own a bunch of fairly heavy equipment -- largest is 13,500 pounds -- can't justify the $50K+ (round # of course) in truck / trailer costs just for hauling to my dealer (mine charges around $300 for transport) 35 miles -...

    Brushmowing Trails. Looking for recommendations.

The other two "critical" or at least incredibly important elements of my setup with the Kunz is the electric lift kit and remote PTO clutch switch; both are mounted on the ATV with easy to disconnect wiring.. For field mowing, maybe not so important but for trail mowing, one has got to be able...

    Brushmowing Trails. Looking for recommendations.

Agree.... If money was no object - a tracked brush mower would be awesome - ended up with a workable solution (as long as it doesn't have a lot of mechanical or engine problems) given that I already had tracked machines; wheeled vehicles on my trails towing a 700+ pound mower are not viable.

    Brushmowing Trails. Looking for recommendations.

nice to hear - I try to minimize the motorized crap I have around here but given my trail profiles I think the Kunz behind a tracked ATV was the "cheapest" option.

    Brushmowing Trails. Looking for recommendations.

Thanks for the info; I have a couple of Kubota tractors - a B3200HSD and a bigger M5040; I brush hog about 10 acres of fields and some of the tamer trails but there are a lot of trails where tractors are a no go - even wheeled ATVs do a lot of a damage to trails and will get stuck pulling a 700+...

    trail clearing technique and tools

Back to all about me topics... Trail mowing.... Received and assembled my Kunz 44" tow behind mower. 750 pounds of mower arrived on a pallet. Assembly was very straight forward. Obviously, these once-in-a-blue-moon assembly activities can always be a challenge. Even though I have only used it...
