    You haven't noticed that you're the only one here thinking you have a valid and sensible argument? Time to move on unless you want to keep embarrassing yourself. I'm done with this topic and I'm going back to the issue of EV's and their impact.

    We hear the same sort of justification comments from welfare recipients. Nothing you can say now nullifies the bragging about taking a clear handout, that we pay for, to support China and our own country's green new deal crowd. Sorry bud, it is what it is.

    I deduct my expenses, but that's a little different than a straight handout, especially when you are looking at (and bragging about) gaining an advantage over your countrymen at their expense.

    I think they know it, but have been indoctrinated to feel entitled to it. We have to realize these days that more government is the answer to all our problems. Repeat after me: "BIG GOVERNMENT IS OUR SAVIOUR...BIG GOVERNMENT IS OUR SAVIOUR"

    Previous generations considered it a matter of pride to support themselves and reject handouts from the government. They thought it demonstrated strength and independence. What a foreign concept that is to some people today.

    I think most of them have proven true already and we're living them. Is there something about the desire to restore the U.S. to it's former glory that makes you uncomfortable?

    I used to go after high risk warrants in a former life. There's no perfect way to do it and please everyone. Sometimes mistakes are made and feelings get hurt. It's just not a perfect world. I'm just glad there are some guys still willing to do it. Were they driving an EV?

    I'm starting to think that the whole EV idea sucks when you take into account the impact on the environment, our national economy, and our national security. I can see how China and others that hate the United States would love it.
