What are some good online sources for Cat 6 cable and pass thru connectors?

That angle picture is not correct and it doesn't match the diagram on the right.

It also shows a passthrough (which I've never used either), so the angle cut may or may not be better that the flush cut referenced for the closed end plugs.

I never angle cut the wires with the Pass-Thru connectors and do this every day for a living. Those that don't use the Pass-Thru connectors just don't know what they are missing.

The people I work for now don't use the pass through it's really not that hard like I thought it would be to use the other kind. They also showed me a neat trick using a small tweaker size Flathead to untwist the wires it makes it really fast

Well can you tell us about "using a small tweaker size Flathead"?
I've been using fingers, and it takes me minutes to "stroke" them straight.

Also, still looking for recommendations:

Any pointers for a decent tester for less than $100? I don't want to spend a lot on equipment that will be used for one job.

And my foreseeable planned projects will probably only require about 20 more wire runs (40 ends) for my entire lifetime.

Sure it's correct. While the blue wire looks to be out of place at the angled cut, look down where it comes out of the passthrough. It's in the correct spot. It just went over it's neighbor after the end of the connector.

That was a dramatic understatement, I've already used up 6 of my 40 Cat (6) lives.

I use a Klein Tools VDV Scout Pro 2 Tester Model VD501-098. It's just a wire mapper and toner. It won't actually certify the cable but it will tell you if your pin out is correct end to end. I use it almost every day. Should be under $100 at Home Depot or elsewhere.
