Big Explosion in Beirut Lebanon yesterday

Americans forgive and forget. Germany and Japan were our worst enemies yet after the war we gave them so much economical support that now most of the cars we buy come from Japan or Germany. South Korea was our ally and we didn't give them nearly as much support economically and their economy is just starting to rival that of the others.

We learned from the mistakes after WW I. After that war, the victors extracted retribution and left an environment fertile for ****** and Mussolini. After WW II, we helped the defeated countries rebuild and they became our allies. A better approach it appears.

I wonder if the initial firefighting efforts contributed to the explosion. Either the water or the moisture may have helped the AN decompose, of course along with the heat from the fire.
