Had this typed out before the net shut off and lost it all let me try again.
I heard what can best be described as a marble or a gear just starting to mesh in rear of the tractor as I was removing the 3 point hitch. It didn稚 seem to matter whether the tractor was neutral or gear. Only when the clutch peddle was pushed did it stop. After doing some reading I知 thinking the clutch is out of adjustment on the tractor but I cannot check for several weeks. I did start thinking however, that for quite some time that while pushing the clutch in to shift from neutral to gear, that the selector wouldn稚 slide easily to gear most often. I would then just let the clutch back out, touch the hyderostat pedal and then push clutch back in, and slide selector easily to gear. No grinding ever took place etc. But I should of realized than to check the clutch adjustment. Assuming it is indeed the clutch adjustment, and is at the point of while running, sometimes is rattling slightly in rear of tractor and trying to slide selector to gear might need that little depression of the hydrostat peddle to allow me to slide easily to gear than. What are the odds there痴 enough clutch wear it would now need to be changed. Only 480 hours on it. I can only wait a pray until I can take a look at its adjustment in a few weeks time.
